They are very different situations: Newington hadn't won the game, they had scored a try - the pitch invasion had caused a delay of game, which ultimately meant Riverview had no more chance to win. This is possibly why Riverview supporters were very angry. Yesterday, that current year12 age...

The last try was actually Angus Bell (Y10) who was moved back up on Thursday in the wake of a domino effect that sent McGeoch to the firsts for the afternoon. Angus scored 3 that game, including the game winner you described. Can't think he'll move down now surely.

Fair enough. In regards to Billy Smith "having more of an impact" than Will Terry - Terry and Dom Easy (12) were both training with the Australian 7's U18's squad on the weekend, and even had training that morning of the game. That may offer an explanation.

Not sure if you were watching a different game mate. View defended for most of the game and Scots were unable to crack the defence. View should have scored 3-4 more times but lacked execution in the latter stages on some phases during the game.

Riverview brush off a gutsy scots team to win 24-12. Big players for view: Tommy Silk: couple of great runs and some great defence Jake Pirina: scored 2 tries via some big runs down the flanks Chris Scott: good mongrel throughout the game and some great breakdown work Scots 15, 2 and 8...

Oh my Oh my. Look what we have here. Another year, another spectacle. AAGPS is less than 3 months away, and I've never been more excited. This is shaping up to be the most even spread teams in recent memory. 4 main contenders being: Kings, Joeys, View and New who are all able to bring...

In relation to the report that was just released of View vs Scots - number 10 was Tom Lenehan not Jack McGregor. And the 3 points given to Alex Hamilton might've been meant for Chris Scott who scored 2 tries off the two set pieces not Alex, who despite playing well, did not score any try off set...

In-form 2's stand out performer Oliver Smeallie will get a chance in the 1's this week for view. Came on in the second half vs Joeys and backed himself a nice meat pie (only try scored in the second half by view) interesting to see how he goes against a injury-plagued shore backline Sent from...
