    Rebels 2019

It looks like Fuso have terminated their sponsorship of the Rebels - they were back of jersey sponsors - they are no longer listed as Rebels partners. Any one know why this happened?

    Rebels 2018

Well unfortunately that was what TT used to try to do - flog them to death after the season to build them up but unfortunately a lot of them suffered soft tissue injuries during that time and in 2016 for example, we had a lot of players out even at the start of the season for that reason. On...

    Rebels 2018

Did anyone get a look at this article: in the herald sun: melbourne-rebels/dave-wessels-rebels-on-rebuilding-culture-of-rumoured-booze-bender-sessions-and-unprofessionalism/news-story/2c98edb812ed5248ab55d866de842f2e&memtype=registered#command-form it is behind paywall, so hard to access and I...

    Concussions and Protecting Our Players

Actually, I thought the kid wearing the helmet was easier for the scout to spot, I didn't for a moment think those flimsy things could protect a head from concussion

    Where to for Super Rugby?

That is exactly what I was getting at a few posts ago - the Reds have organic growth capacity, talented school boys and lots of depth to choose from, so why do the Reds end up the way they did this year? Where do the talent go? Do all of them go to AFL and NRL? and if so, why?

    Reds 2019

I certainly dont need much to get my anger up these days but reference to Rebels players who showed potential and then for some reason didn't realise that potential under Head coach McGahan is certainly a trigger. And by the way, I see a lot of ex rebels players as Wallabies, Tahs and even in NZ...

    Rebels 2019

even I am getting tired of the ex force reference to players . And If say so myself, when I've had enough, it's enough. Not happy about what's happened but I'm looking to the now and the future and I'm not going to rehash the past

    The Wallabies Thread

true, but I would say that we need a whole lot more new talent - but yes, I take your point on those boys

    The Wallabies Thread

I would think the Wallabies need some kind of player and coach renewal now: Sekope Kefu front rower ten years in the squad Kurtle Beal centre six or seven years in the squad Pocock back rower ten years in the squad Hooper back rower six years in the squad Folau full back five years in the squad...

    Reds 2019

He would not want to go to where Mc Gahan still reigns - he is still dirty on him (i think) for his time in Melbourne and training injuries that basically sent him off to Japan for a softer comp

I'm guessing both Mafi and Paisami would deported if they end up serving goal time for these assaults

    Rebels 2018

Umm I am reviewing the season now, we began with four wins in five games and we were leading the table, the fourth win, to the Sharks in Capetown is where the alleged first altercation occurred. Then we lost five games. As another poster noted, the players had sorted Mafi out by then, leaving...

    Reds 2019

Does anyone know if McGahan is employed by the Reds or by RA? I thought in Melbourne he was employed by Rebels, but I think I heard that Wessels is actually employed by RA and placed and paid for by Rebels, so I was wondering if this was the case for Tony McGahan also?
