Correct definitely in Yr 11 in 2020 - always a better fit for League than Union IMO. Would have been good to watch in First XV though.

Not 100% but I think it might be 4 Kiwis + 2 local boys (16 this year) - the local boys 100% started this year (11) and are well know from the local comp and rep scene.

Yep the 2 'local' new boys are also impressive specimens and in the top echelon of the U16 age group - if the NZ boys can play they are certainly building an impressive squad for the 22/23 seasons.

Given we only ever saw Ponga for one season as a 17 year old and he was more dominate (admittingly is a much stronger team) that Howarth was at 18 I am going to have to disagree.

I wouldn't write of ACGS just yet - they are putting together a very strong team - although a couple of the new boys (out of towners) are little hard to get a read on , this year might be one to early but I expect they will be very competitive this year.

Interesting ACGS has also added a couple of pretty good 16 year old's to the fold from the local club comp - I expect them to be a pretty hot team in 2022, if not before.
