    Wallabies 2023

I think it's easy to forget that in the last squad, it was Mcreight that Samu kept out. If Mcreight is in, and with the rise of Gleeson - I can see Samu being squeezed which is a shame. But they can't afford to carry Hoops, Samu, Gleeson and Mcreight in 4/6 spots. Not enough range there. IMO...

    Wallabies 2023

Eddie said he was taking 3 10s. But I think the 3rd has to be able to play somewhere else. Like a To'omua or JOC (James O'Connor). I'm sure he would have liked Donaldson to do better and be able to cover 15. Most likely in this squad, Hodge. However could still be Quade, Foley and Gordon - but seems like a...

    Wallabies 2023

It will be interesting. Wright is the form 15 atm, Kellaway has moved there for the run home and in Eddies camp leadership group, and Petaia has moved there and fits Eddies comments about a power game. Eddie had Banks in on the action - so the others will all need to play well and at least 1...

    Wallabies 2023

Waiting to see if Rodda comes good, but Frost has a big head start and Eddie likes Ritchie. Need the big locks with a smaller starting front row. With the mobility in the 2nd and back row coming on to balance the big dog finisher front rowers. Skelton doesn't offer the running game off the bench...

    Wallabies 2023

Seems necessary. They were allowed to offer extra $ as RA couldn't top up (or top up much) Frees Lonergan to start so our best 4 halfbacks are all starting in different franchises which is nice.

Leota is an interesting one I agree, but Eddie likes his islanders bulldozers! Rodda and ESPECIALLY philip have a lot of work to do, especially if Eddie has his eyes on Arnold and Skelton who IMO are better. Throw in Frost and DEFINITELY one of them is missing out.

    Queensland Reds 2024

I think we need a Hype man - Cheika would be more impactful then Deans. Pay the cash hard for a couple years, Get it turned around THEN go for a steadier hand, the queensland link etc blah. Don't throw a rookie coach like Heenan or a Qlder heart and soul Taylor like person in with with lacking...

Put no clause - As the only decent THP in australia off contract - we need him.

    Waratahs 2023

HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes)>Botha (unless HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) is injured?) Swinton > Harris (unless Swinton gets suspended)

    Wallabies 2023

I guess the rehab guys are the 'lock ins' who will not play for their Super Rugby team again perhaps - big names which RA has taken over the rehab.

    Wallabies 2023

He's just....not considered. He was injured when first announced and didnt't get an invite now when fit. So just..yeh. cya.

    Wallabies 2023

Who in ' not considered' is injured? Did Hanigan, Ikitau, Porecki, Samu, Schoupp, Swain get dropped or injured?

    Waratahs 2023

I hope they keep him! Just saying IF they don't. But also my point being Tuipolotu should have good options, if not at the Tahs then at least 2 other clubs he could be a starter. Also means Perese is a target within Aus for the same reasons.
  15. upthereds#!

    Waratahs 2023

If Perese stays, they won't be able to offer much, but if Perese goes his offer will be strong. Especially as the Rebels and Force both need a decent starting centre next year.

    Queensland Reds 2024

I think part of the problem is that we seem to be only getting players from QPR. Can't replace wallabies with clubbies and expect it to get stronger. Yes some will improve in the right environment but this is like looking for a Head Coach and only looking in the carpark. Heenan deserves to get a...

    Wallabies 2023

I thought he was listed as 'unavailable due to injury' - Eddie included those as part of his 49 doesnt fit into 33 or whatever.

    Wallabies 2023

Agreed - only pick squad members so got stuck with 2 half backs but yes - would quickly drop a centre for a 3rd halfback. Not sure who also gets dropped for the 6th prop.

    Wallabies 2023

I know it's feeble but decide to pick my best 33 for the WC - ONLY from who is currently in the squad/wider squad/not available through injury (though would want a 3rd HB) Hooker: Lonergan, Porecki, Fainga'a Prop: Bell, Slipper, Tupou, Ala'alatoa, Pone Lock: Arnold, Rodda, Frost, Skelton BR...
