Hey Mate, looks like knox will be the team to beat with a lot of returning players but this could be one of the most competitive years in a while. Waverly will be strong. Cranbrook had a strong seconds and trinity had a lot of boys coming through the gen blue program and barker will most likely...

    CAS Rugby 2023

Yes but this is different as that was spread out over different age groups. These boys are all going into year 11 next year along with nick hill. Also we don’t even know if this is true.

    CAS Rugby 2023

Is this true? because they seemed to have recruited positions that already have depth. With Charlie heidki and Riley the centres for NSW country. Like muriti is a hooker at oakhil and Jed smith a prop for nsw country. Would make more sense to target a five-eight

Finau was one of the most influential player for barker, in his absence barker lost to Scot’s . When he returned against joeys he was one of the best on. When he got injured against Riverview barker barely scraped through only winning by 2 and his return against waverly he was belting the...

I’d say stovold over dring and finau over sahyoun as finau was aus u18s and also a tighthead.

The fact that covid prevented barker vs waverly at barker main oval in 2021 is a true tragedy would’ve been a great match to watch with a massive turnout

    CAS Rugby 2023

No he was in year 11 but he was underage, so only played 1 year of 1st XV

    CAS Rugby 2023

Brown played 2nds in 2018 Collinson was the starting 1 for barker and CAS and I’d pick sahyoun over him

Been playing colts 1sts for eastwood

Kennedy at 6. Although didn’t get to play there much he was playing there for gen blue

Also noticed Dylan hall was representing u15 gen blue. Is he under age or in year 9? Either way beyond impressive what he’s been doing doing in 16As at that age

    CAS Rugby 2023

I doubt an aus team would go, this tournament suits England as it’s at the end of there preason and sa at the end of their season but for an Australian team it would be very early on in their preseason where they’re trying to feel the wholes from their year 12s departing

    CAS Rugby 2023

Tough to say. Haven’t seen much of the knox 16As side but I do believe with how he performed in a strong 2nds lineup he’ll get the nod but it’s only a prediction

    Knox predicted line up: 1. McKinnon (1sts) 2.Hugo McDonald(2nds) 3.Goddard (1sts) 4.harris(2nds) 5.erricson(1st) 6.Morrison(2nds) 7.ryan (1sts) 8.Heath Turner (16As) 9.Lachlan whiteing (2nds) 10.schmude(1sts/2nds) 11.Max Roach(16As) 12Enasio(1sts) 13.Jake Fulton(2nds) 14.tbc 15.Hall(16As) A lot...

The seconds were a competitive side, there losses were often dictated by a conversion. Will Kennedy has been at barker since year 7, he became a rep league player after being developed in the program.

    CAS Rugby 2023

Only Oniti Finau and Isaiya Katoa began in year 11. Of course Barker will receive a lot of its best players in year 10, that’s when boarding commences but as per usual you always neglect to mention how barker has moulded players. Aden Ekanyake was a bs player and ended up playing for gen blue...

    As was Archie Saunders.

    CAS Rugby 2023

Highly unlikely Black and White. Not only because of the distance but preseason matches between CAS schools and Canberra schools are historically very one-sided affairs. I hope schools like Oakhill are given a chance, as the last two years they’ve not only competed but beaten some of the top 3...

    CAS Rugby 2023

The rumours are that the CAS comp is set to be broadened to include stronger ISA schools and potentially other schools which produce stronger rugby outfits. This is based off Barker students (and maybe other CAS schools) being asked to complete a survey which suggested a greater talent pool of...
