are the dates of the upcoming March (?) 2025 NSW V QLD U18 academy series games at least published anywhere?

I was referring to the “Academy Series” of 2 games to be shortly played, I’ve heard a few names picked (with many not due to committing to league Harold Matts and SG Ball) and training underway …. Last year they picked the top (perceived at the time) players and then announced the PONI squad…...

Any insights into the Reds and Waratahs U18s squads that have formed to play shortly?

A regular pathway for the likes of Barker, Waverley, Newington and Kings….

It’s been a battle of 2 over the last 8 years; Barker & Waverley with cycles of recruitment seemingly being the difference….. with the completion starting earlier and then the ISA/CAS rounds last it could be different

One trend that has been prevalent of late, starts early and has huge implications in the future tho; rep selectors picking kids who haven’t/don’t want to play front row in the hope they can be “coached up” and will grow….

Wallabies winning, Lions tour, Waratahs Seniors stronger squad - all boding much better (still very long way to go) to win the hearts & minds of kids hopefully!!!!

Really hoping this HAS all been officially agreed by all schools/associations; has it?

Sometimes I actually hypothesise that selectors are preferencing League leaning players in the hope that they’ll consider staying close to Union, to the detriment of Union loyal peers who are actually (a touch) better but the selectors know they will be back trying again next year….
