How about this for an idea - let the players that athletically suit both play both with appropriate funding until 25, then make a call on big contracts .... BUT invest more union development into the kids that are athletically only Union suited - 200cm + second rowers, 115kg front rowers...

correct, after sydney/country/presidents play this week (Regionals) the selectors pick the 4 next-step squads (picked in this order with eligibility clashes): Sydney, Country, NSW Schools I and NSW Schools II - who then all play each other in a Waratahs U16s trial round robin

Interesting day of u16s; CAS probably lost their first game vs GPS B more than GPS B won it (too many turnovers proved costly with a losing margin of 3). Tight win against CCC again with turnovers (especially in contact) being the Achilles heel….. Final game tomorrow vs ISA 2 should be a cracker!
