facetious? not in the slightest. delusional? maybe, but very comfortable in my data-based hope, complemented by having watched the previous corresponding fixtures from the sideline for the last 3 years... Joeys have dominated the results of this age group since year 7, mostly through backs...

Think Knox might have the edge in the forwards (like they did last year, and Knox been bolstered by a couple of boys repeating u16s), which could be more advantageous in the wet…. Joeys backs were the big difference last year but a lot of personnel changes this year

That would be best for the players IMO; could see a whiz kid playing up effectively 2 age groups (say a just 15 yo playing against almost 18yos) leading to a very detrimental effect….. full respect to the schools who tend to gradually develop their players for a good full 2 years in opens rather...

Kings beat Knox comfortably. Newington beat Kings comfortably. Knox beat Newington comfortably. Really can’t determine potential out of today….
