I don't think there is more than any other team has to deal with (schools, school rep trials, rugby league, injuries). Other teams still turn up when they are struggling for numbers or their stars are not there. Chatswood have 24 players on their sign on sheet. You have the option to change game...

Sydney 16's calendar includes as I understand City v Country post zone trials then in September a watered down U16 tournament including schools, SJRU, Country, ACT, and maybe others which is still being finalised. Not sure what is happening with NSWJRU teams. Eligibility for the Sydney team...

I don't think there is a lot of interest post state champo's for the Gordon 16's in regard to Sydney teams, they just want to give it to North's and retain the title. Chatswood / Gordon up to their usual tricks players from every district but the Chatswood area, and contracted to other codes...

Its started already Rd 5 Chatswood AKA Gordon forfeit, 4 rounds qualify for reps now they don't give a stuff. SJRU should just disband the team and make all their players ineligible for reps. That would fix the empire builders.

No the Sydney coaches were from elsewhere and where unbiased. Not sure about the rest of the selectors or people whom had influence. Input from coaches and other officials do have a large influence on selection when the coaches don't know the boys. selection of a high level team is difficult...

vp reps for SJRU and NSWJRU is from hunters hill strong roomers that Chatswood will fold after the state champs, and that wahroongah and chatswood will sign on players that are not at games for eligibility same pattern evident in the age group below
