    NSW Suburban Rugby 2012

Yes, but not generally to other clubs. From what I've heard this is an "ex president". Each year, the Club is made up of about 50% new members.

Adding to that Interest, Waves is playing Alexandria in a trial!!!! Prodigy, do you know who the Waverley players are? I've heard it is one former President of the Club, but not which former President. There have been a number of "growing" pains at Waverley the last three seasons. Call it...

    Super Rugby Tipping Competition 2012

What do you know... I make different picks from my big bad bro, and we end up on the same number of points (5th and 6th)

Sydney Football Stadium vs ANZ/ Olympic/ Telstra/ Homebush

Some comments.... The decision to take some games to ANZ was made way back in 2005 (maybe 2006?) when the Tahs were getting very good crowd numbers to the SFS. Eg in those days, the Reds match would have sold out, same with the Crusaders and possibly the Blues. No one went to the SA games...

The one point I'll make about Balmain, is that they are the only Club (that I know of) to have risen so high, without actually having ever won a Divisional Championship!!!!!

Not for a long while. Real question is, do we want to? There is a voice among many in Waverley that targeting first grade shouldn't be a priority... Generally I agree with that statement, but I think getting back to first grade would be a product of getting everything else humming along nicely!

We are not like other clubs who have had people on the Committee for 20+ years. The main problem with Waverley Committees is they are mainly made up of Players, with no real old boys. Which obviously makes things hard time wise. The Committees have been fairly stable, although there was a...

Waverley doesn't have any associations with any schools. While we are known as Waverley Rugby Club (our name under the Constitution), under the Constitution we are still also Waverley Old Boys, there just isn't an official link. Randwick / Easts pretty much take up Waverley College's 1st and...

    Rebels 2012

How do you figure that? From what I can see I can still buy all the same tickets as offered elsewhere. A private enterprise has nothing to do with it. I know for me, I'm not going to buy a seasons ticket at those discounts, as as soon as I miss one game I've wasted my money. What then...

    Rebels 2012

Guys, jumping in late here, but out of interest I was looking at the season ticket prices for the Rebels. WTF? Are they serious with the discounts they are offering. Per game, the lowest that I noted was $0.13 compared with if you just rock up on the night. Are they serious (or am I looking...

UNSW has remodelled grounds. Not sure what they are like compared with their old ones. Their old stand was fantastic, but the Canteen was in an awkward position. Otherwise, grounds that are generally good. Colleagues / Newport / Blue Mountains. All different from what Waves now has, but...

Was going to raise that! In my opinion, Balmain, with the using of Chabal / Giteau / Mitchell are treading a very fine line when they do things like this. Overall to date, I think it has been great for them, the teams they play against and Subbies Rugby in general, but one day it could come...

    NSW Suburban Rugby 2012

Ok, I'm going to wade into this discussion. But I'll say something upfront. I'm a member of Waverley, and was a former Committee Member of the Club, so my opinions are coloured by that experience. Subbies is currently an amateur comp (as per its rules, articles of association etc). Any club...
