Having played in short trials against Balmain & Mac Uni on the weekend, we managed to win both, although closely.. Of the two, I'd say Mac Uni were more impressive, the Balmain side had massive rugby league vibes. Next to no set piece but if they get that right, they'll be dangerous.

Probably slightly higher. Low 30's. If we don't get a halligans there will be blokes missing out on a game, put it that way. However, some injuries and people away and you run the risk of not having enough for 2 in a 2 team comp I guess.

Very upset not to be playing the renegades Mr. Pfitzy. Although very appreciative that our furthest away game is the outpost of Balmain.

Wouldn't have thought so.. Whilst I don't agree with it, I reckon this season will get canned.

Odd on subbies binning the season?

They should come and talk to us about how we've managed to sustain such high playing numbers over the last few years. Have heard the same about Forest though. They could be looking at a disastrous season in Div 1.

3rd grade forfeited that day too champ. Yeah yeah, we've got 91 registered players, heard it all before. 60 of them are 1-2 game ring ins. If numbers aren't a problem at a club forfeiting multiple grades regularly, that will actually do me.

Can confirm Brothers has made a submission to Subbies asking to be relegated to Division 4. If they don't let it happen, may as well shut the doors. The club wouldn't survive another div 3 season, we've got 2 teams on a good day.

Am I correct in saying that Merrylands were the only team 2 team club last year? Everyone else was either div 5 or 6 with 1 or div 4 with the full 3?

I'm always skeptical about subbies ordering clubs to do things. They have no idea whats going on within those clubs.
