    Scotland v Australia 12Nov16 Saturday

Skelton is still an enticing prospect, if he can deliver on his potential. Cheika clearly believes he can bring Skelton on. At his best he's like a monster eight, carrying players over the gain line and taking them out of the next play. The problem has been too little of that for the lineout price.

More a fan of the lean startup, Hugh.

French Barbarians v Australia, Thursday 24 November

Please no, not "chicken runners". The Saffers can have that one.

Wales vs Australia, 5 November 2016, (1:30am 6 November AEDT) @ Millenium Stadium

That's all true. Part of the "at last" is simply practise and experience. If the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result, the definition of professional sports is doing the same thing thousands of times and expecting a different result.

BDA, I think we've come from a period of weakness, where Big Kev was our only good lock, to a period of strength. I really like Douglas, and now we have new young front-runners who have the potential to be world-class. It's all good. Go Wobs!

In 2015, his 2015 form was highly divisive. But you're right. He was very good. Arnold and Coleman are better.

Well I for one was wrong about rotations. :-)

Grammar Nazis are like zombies, climbing over each other to eat the brains of people who don't understand genteel discourse.

Unfortunately, all the emojis on this forum software version are demented emojis.

A fairly draconian view of business there, Strewthcobber. No plan survives first contact with the enemy. Enterprises that change personnel in preference to changing their ideas can't possibly compete in a fast-paced modern business world.

That's balanced by the fact that he'd receive none of some GAGR posters votes if he played a blinder.

Storm in a teacup, or more serious?

There were many programs to expand rugby before 1996, however not in the form of new provincial representative teams, but at the grassroots level. Some people still think that's a better way to grow the game.

Storm in a teacup, or more serious?

That's not the case. The loan was documented. The guarantee was verbal.

Yes, very much so. I rate Nadolo as the best wing in the world or thereabouts. Taqele is very much the same style of player.

If Genia is "half" as fast as Phipps, then I guess the former Argentine international player was a "boy", here on the Twilight Zone, where time moves in new and unexpected ways.

    Scotland v Australia 12Nov16 Saturday

Sorry, my bad. We'd won 16 on the trot from 1982 to Murrayfield in 2009, as you say, not 24. I have no idea where I got 24 from. Since then, the two teams have been equal: 2-2 and only a handful of points in each game. For 9th against 3rd in the world, whoever those two teams are, that makes us...

    Scotland v Australia 12Nov16 Saturday

Exactly my point. The way to beat Scotland at Murrayfield isn't by playing ten-man rugby, even if the conditions are poor. That's their game, and they're better at it.

Is it under-estimate, or over-estimate? I mean no disrespect to the Scots, but we're becoming their bunnies because we have the wood on ourselves when we play them. Until the loss in Newcastle we always played to our strengths, as we would against any 9th or 12th ranked team, and we won...

He's the crucial extra threat out wide the Wallabies need, because you can't double-mark both him and Folau without leaving gaps inside for Foley (or Cooper).

    Waratahs 2017

T is probably more of a Wallaby wing than a Waratah wing at this stage. The Wobs could do with someone who can simply smash it down the left wing and offload with one hand. Who do you defend against?
