No animosity towards female sport here, i love watching it. But the AFLW cocked it hard with their top down approach, they expanded far too quickly and as a result had to draft in way too many players that are subpar or from a totally different sport in the hope they'd pick up the game quickly...

Lol who hurt you I used to work for the AFL and know people that still do work there as well as some high level umpires. They all think the same, AFLW overall was done extremely poorly and has only survived off the wealth of the AFL

I would say the same about those two Especially AFLW, they’re lucky they got anything. They expanded way too early and haven’t amended rules to make the game more enjoyable to watch resulting in a trash product. Loss of free to air is certainly not ideal, however with the culture of netball...

I had a look at a rugby.com.ah article this morning suggested profit would be split between the Lions and SA, no mention of financial benefit for AUS. Maybe they’re paying a straight fee upfront? Wasn’t sure what to make of it......
