Not sure where you went to school but did they teach English there ? Once again your grammar is appalling as you've left out an adjective. I think you meant to write 'an under-strength Waverley lost to an under-strength View...' (no Morettis etc etc) I've never met anyone whose English can't...

Riverview 33-27 FT. True trial. Lots of errors, both teams could have won. Both coaches have lots to work on. Exciting game because it was close rather than a great display of skills. Lots of effort from both sides though.

24-19 Waverley at oranges. Have a feeling this could be a high scoring game as both teams are throwing it around.

19-19 at QP. Even game of no great heights. SIC big size advantage.

And given you were 50% wrong wrt who played in the Waverley forward pack against Barker at Hornsby last year, I'm thinking research accuracy isn't your strong suit.

First, I think you mean ‘another think coming’ Second, you mean a pack containing Cornish & Whiteman (Oz schoolboys Moretti & Wright didn’t play that day). Third, you have to play Waverley at QP this year

    School sporting scholarships/recruitment

Looked at another way, one should choose the school to produce well-rounded people. The Christian Brothers established schools to teach the poor (you could argue that Brisbane never got the memo) and that is largely the reason why the fees are low and the social justice component high. The...

    School sporting scholarships/recruitment

My understanding is that in the case of Trinity additions the boys' left that school for varied reasons and had pre-existing contacts (some rugby) with Waverley boys so asked to come across. Given the fees are about a third of those of peer schools, it's an attractive choice for parents. And...

Hunters definately keen to get back into Div 1 and hearing Knox wouldnt mind a change in opposition down in Div 2. Hurlo will attack me but I would caution Iggies from going up to Div 2. They appear to be in good shape but fielding the extra team requires at least another 30-35 players. Epping...

Horrific ? Gee they breed 'em tough up Warrawee way by the sounds of it.

Haven't seen a bigger crowd at QP - given the importance of the day, the multiple old boys' reunions and the beautiful weather there was plenty of support for Waverley. The old boys in particular, having arrived in droves 10 minutes before kick-off after rolling down the hill from the Robin...

Yet playing at home against a team missing two rather handy Australian schoolboys they still couldn't get over the line. No doubt they're committed players but before you wallow in superlatives don't forget they lost at home against an understrength Waverley.

Played at QP with Waverley having two of their Oz schoolboys back who didn't play against Barker at Hornsby, I think Waverley would have looked forward to it....

    Sydney Subbies 2017

It's been going for 70 years & now has a Colts team & has been up and down over the years, so assume it will get out of the trough that many clubs find themselves in. My understanding is that many of the new players were past players who were asked to help out given the dire straits the club...

    Sydney Subbies 2017

Maybe because the club doesn't want to forfeit a game and players are willing to play even though outgunned. Is it better to forfeit entirely or more meritorious to have players loyal enough to the club to be all hands to the pump and be willing to get hammered. A fair question methinks.
