    QLD GPS Rugby 2013

Sure did, would have liked to have included his brother Matt, but thats another story. No doubt, just thought it would be interesting, keeping in mind that schoolboy rugby is the backbone for club level (with the exception of Higginbotham). Nudgee, State High and TSS are the top three for...

Also funny how the same situation has occured 2 years in a row.

    QLD U16s 2013

I was referring to Gunter taking the field in QLD Red as oppose to White. I believe he should be in place of Leofa, who is apparently still hobbling around in a moon boot. The game I saw him play against GT particularly impressed me. Comparing him to Fakaosilea is definitely a big call, hard to...

No complaints there, however would have like to have seen Kalyn Ponga (ACGS) and Ben Gunter (BBC) take to the field. Whats the go with Nikau Te Rupe (GT #13) ?From the 3 games that i've seen him play in the firsts this season I would have thought he would have at least made Queensland Whites.

Would someone care to explain how Kyle Leofa, who is still yet to play a game this season earned QLD honours?? Yet another example of players picked on reputation rather than form. Captain or not from last years tournament, I find it rather strange. Round 7 Tips NC over IGS by 15 TSS over TGS...

Anybody know about the extent of Ben Laxon's injury? He was MIA on the weekend and it was apparent how much terrace missed him, especially in the lineouts. On a sidenote, although there aren't many Nudgee posters on this forum, I would like to acknowledge Tuttle's brilliant performance on...

Considering Churchie lost to them in round 1, with whom they drew with last week, you'd expect nothing less. Especially considering they have only come away with 1 competition point in the last 2 rounds, it wouldn't be the appropriate time to start resting players.

Probabaly one of, if not the best GPS rugby match of all time. Half of brisbane was at West End. "The King" Wally Lewis captained BSHS. https://brisbaneshs.eq.edu.au/book/1977-vs-gt War-cry?

5 of which were in a row thanks to the likes of Michael Lynagh etc. Thinking of this record is truly incredible, I mean could you imagine going to school in year 8 and graduating year 12 without knowing what it's like to not win a premiership? With an ever increasing competitive GPS competition...

Thankgoodness Swarley, for a moment there I thought I was on the "GT vs BBC onfield and offield banter" page! The fantatic light-dark-blue supporters will now know how BBC felt last year, loosing key players that ultimately depleted their structure and confidence.

Pretty much sums up the whole game yesterday. Bowyer (Bowen?) was constantly looking for the miraculous play. No-look flick passes, literally stopping and trying to dance his way around defenders. Unstructured and ugly rugby, from a majority of BBC's backs (excluding Russel who I thought was...

Enough talk about questionable reffering and poor behaviour on the side line gents. Ends here I watched the BBC vs GT hame today and was impressed by GT's work in the forwards. In particular, Mcnamee and Wilson, who were the the workhorses of the team. BBC's Gunter was particularly impresive...

GT vs BBC is going to be an absolute cracker out at tennyson. Must win game for both teams to keep their premiership hopes alive. You'd have to say Terrace will go into the match as underdogs against a very strong BBC team. In saying that, Terrace is coming of a 40+ victory and will favour their...

BBC had 8 of the run on side in 1sts today who have been at school at least since grade 9 - 2,5,7,8,11,12,14,15. 4 more have been there for the last 2 years (1,3,10,13) with the remainder in grade 10 or 11. How many other schools have more than half of their current run on side at the school for...

Great gesture by the Ipswich Grammar community in allowing for a 1 minute silence before kickoff in rememberance of a terrace staff member who tragically died earlier this week. Brilliant stuff! http://twitpic.com/d66o95 In other news big congratulations to churchie on their big win on the...
