    QLD GPS Rugby 2018

Bye the way, I'd like to add my voice to the appreciation of your service. I think school rugby is by far the most entertaining rugby and I look forward to "the DoubleTake show" every weekend. I just wish we could get the other games as we did last year.

Is it the schools that are resisting the sponsorship? If so ; it's a bit rich given the list of sponsors (car companies, private hospitals etc) that abound both on public address and physical installations at one school (at least) . Am I correct in thinking that DoubleTake record every game and...

    QLD GPS Rugby 2018

The last round will be spicey no matter what happens next because by my reckoning there will have to be at least a couple of teams playing for either a share or an outright win. The next two rounds have the top four playing with everything to win.

GO , Will Roche was named at 7 on the programme and was introduced as captain and number 7 as GT ran on ; I can't vouch it was him. I'm sorry the stream was so poor as the game (live) was a beauty. Makes one wonder how GT (and BGS - who I watched play TSS) have won only one game - they are...

TSS will be without SJ (9) and RG (8) (again) this week. Tom VdS (6) (captain) is back.

Thanks Reg. I was aware that there was a limit to the distance a scrum could be pushed back ; I was getting the impression (rightly or wrongly) that the referees where stopping the push earlier this year.

Speaking of complicated; can anyone please elucidate the rules that pertain to schoolboy scrummaging. In particular the limitation in pushing the opposition backwards? Have these changed since last year?

It would appear that TSS will be without big number 8 Reno Gerrard and captain Tom Van der Schyft (6) this week end. They will de sorely missed.

GO, you refer to the DoubleTake recording of the GT vBBC game. How does one access this? We must also remember that a certain TSS number ten is a Kiwi whose favourite player is Dan Carter - watch him against Churchie and you will see - he is very good. I hope other schools don't follow ACGS in...

Dark Shark, with reference to TSS v IGS last year; TSS were unable to replace CP with another 10 because TW had played a full 2nds game, and half back SJ was sin binned. Despite this the potential winning try by 8 (RG) was ruled held up. Ippy played well ; TSS didn't unravel. Having said that SJ...

Tom van der schyff is TSS 5 ; he was in firsts last year . No 4 I think is one of the Blyth brothers. Tom is the only boy of(I think South African decent. The team is mostly last years firsts (7) and the rest from last years 16A and seconds. Not sure of number 14's origins. Looks like a handy...
