100% agree with you watch. The development side should have been vs each other and possibly gone a bit longer than the 7 mins / half so you can watch players. Some development players only got 14 mins all up for the games and they the development side got no ball.

The games I watched the development squad got no ball. Very hard when you are vs the 4th best team in the world. The development squad was just a training squad to help the Aust team selection for Rio and maybe a couple of contracts might go to players from the development squad down the track

Agree and he didn't have much any type of match fitness in the NFL as he wasn't on the field much. If it wasn't an Olympic year Hayne wouldn't be interested in the rugby7s he would be back at the NRL now. Ben Ryan doesn't want him, but has been told to play him and he gets a minute

The interesting thing I noticed during all the games I watched was the body language of the Fijian team towards Hayne, there was no warmth from any of the players and it looked like they were deliberately ignoring him on the field. Hayne looked unfit and too heavy

My understanding is there are other 7s games held in France over the weekend. Its a big comp. Where players who are trialing out to rep their country are playing in and the coaches will be watching very closely leading onto the Olympics for selections

Yes they have said the same on the news channels last night. But Fiji has to 9.30 am Friday to make changes if they want. I hope Hayne doesn't get in, too much ego for me and I doubt he will even stick with rugby after the games are over...

A couple of new players have been flown over that are training and playing in other games that Friend is watching very closely. Still a bit of time before the team for the big one is picked and could possibly have some new faces.

Hayne has never played rugby. He is an athlete though and was a National Schoolboy champion in the 100 m hurdles without even training. I think he will be there even if they have him coming on and who knows maybe some of his big sponsors might splash some $$$$ towards the Fijians as they will...
