    Waratahs 2014

Full squad member (no EPS) at the tender age of 20 as a hooker and back up for Tafs. Cheika must hold Latu in high regard, interesting, only time will tell.

    Shute Shield 2013

Gee whiz - entertaining rugby in OZ can't be to bad when a hooker (Uni) decides to chance his arm from 22mtrs out with a bit of feet shuffling to beat a defender or two to bag a meat pie. Good effort!

    Waratahs 2014

It appears Izzy will sign for the Tahs on a 2 year deal. So, do we have confirmation on the full squad (including EPS contract) members for 2014...

    Shute Shield 2013

They will need to and for 80 mins. The reserves could be the point of difference. It is shaping up to be a good contest and good day out if your a Marlin supporter given 2nd & 3rd grades will playing before hand.

    Shute Shield 2013

Given Uni 2nd grade play on Sat and 1st on Sun, i would imagine Uni 1st grade will have some fresh (24hrs rest) reserves. As oppose to Manly 2nd grade who play before 1st grade game on the same day.

    Shute Shield 2013

Are you suggesting Uni field a 'second' 1st grade team for he 2014 Shute Shield comp? Could you imagine the uproar from the rest of the clubs in the comp...

    Shute Shield 2013

Back to the rugby finals this weekend... Gee wiz Uni 1st & 2nd grade team lists look very strong. http://www.sydneyunirugby.com.au/_blog/Club_News/post/teams-announced-qualifying-final-v-manly/

    Waratahs 2014

What about large props/hooker with size AND technique! Technique can be taught, sheer power & force due to size can not, natural ability. Nothing against Roach, he would be a valid assest at whos expense? I'm suspecting this is Cheika view given his recent selection. Though Holmes is there...

    Waratahs 2014

9kg lighter and also lacking strength/force come collision time (incl. scrummaging) could be the point of difference.

    Waratahs 2014

I just don't think he has the collision and scrummaging (current form) as a hooker to compete at Super Rugby level.

    Waratahs 2014

His scrummaging is average and appears lightweight for a hooker come collision time and scrummage. Though his work rate is huge, probably the reason why for the transition to flanker. I do recall his name in a force line up this season.

Second half, come on Tahs let's get it together!

    NSW Barbarians tour to Argentina

So, half time entertainment looks more promising than the Tahs 1st half game.

    NSW Barbarians tour to Argentina

Agree L.Grant Every basic fundamental of the game is imploding within the Tahs. Trying to find a positive, ill keep watching.

    NSW Barbarians tour to Argentina

18mins in - Arg. 13. - Tahs 0 ...and Tahs scrum is crumbling every feed, it's a joke!
