    Their forwards, especially their back rowers were more than competitIve against Nudgee. The problem was they couldn't win a linout all day and the Nudgee backs kept running around the Churchie backs on the outside. On yesterday's performance, the Churchie backs are overrated.

    St Peters Def Eddies 20-17. Both backlines lived up to expectations but Peters were more polished. St Peters No 11 William Duma was a monster. Much maligned Peters forwards was fantastic in the wet. From 14-3 to St Peters, Eddies came back strongly to tie it up 17 all with 10 mins to go. Penalty...

    Halftime St Peters 19 vs Padua 7. Peters LHS are killing it though Left wing for Peters just went off with what looks like a serious ankle injury. BTW Padua Forwards are ENORMOUS - though fairly ponderous. If the first half are anything to go by Peters should win comfortably.
