    Wallabies 2021

I have enjoyed Uru's cameos isn't he more of a backrower then Lock?

I'm with you on Rodda and I hope you're right, I think his form leading up to his "walk out" was pretty average anyway. Phillip was immense last year so we didn't miss Rodda at all, I'd take Phillip in a heart beat.

Super Rugby AU Rd 6 - Brumbies v Force

Love to see an upset here just to throw some spice into the run to the finals.

    Wallabies 2021

Pretty good crack, I would love to see Hosea rewarded for his form this year but no doubt Rodda walks back in.

    Wallabies 2021

I am not disputing the stats themselves infact they are reassuring in the fact that Suli completed every tackle with success. What they don't do is show his defensive positioning which had him come in off his wing leaving his flank open.

    Wallabies 2021

My position was simply of Suli being exposed in D, as for Muirhead he seems pretty soft in contact.

Super Rugby Rnd 6: Waratahs v Reds

Yeah that was a shocker, its a shame as the kid is clearly talented and it just seems to be the top 2%. With the Wallabies 15 Jersey wide open now would be his time to shine but he has not taken this opportunity. Isn't he meant to be going to 7s at some point?

    Wallabies 2021

Maybe because he wasn't even in a position to miss the tackles, bit misleading those stats.

Super Rugby Rnd 6: Waratahs v Reds

Fair point, I just remember this game last year and Maddocks tore the Reds apart with his broken field running from the back.

    Wallabies 2021

I really like Muirhead, he would be a walk up start in any team except the Brumbies or Reds.

Super Rugby Rnd 6: Waratahs v Reds

Good runner able to find space like every good running half back should, pretty decent defender also.

Super Rugby Rnd 6: Waratahs v Reds

Well he is not going to learn anything warming the pine like he is this weekend, he has had a season and a half to fix those works ons.

    Reds 2021

Here we see the first potatoes being planted for the season, Robertson really has TT in his pocket there pretty handy having pockets in the back of your jersey.

    Wallabies 2021

Suli is definately an incredible athlete, but teams with better coaching structures like the Brumbies and those at test level will be able to negate his strengths to an extent but more importantly expose his positional awareness in particular in D. He looks like he could become anything, and his...

Super Rugby Rnd 6: Waratahs v Reds

Yeah pretty sure I got him confused with Duncan P, stand down internet.

Super Rugby Rnd 6: Waratahs v Reds

Maybe he didn't, I thought he played inside SK for a few games, what I do remember was he pretty much dropped the ball cold on every other back line play. OK all I can say is I'm glad he is playing for the Tahs and not the Reds.
  17. James GC

Super Rugby Rnd 6: Waratahs v Reds

Yeah I think that backline for the Tahs is better then last weeks, Jack Maddocks at fullback is better than Mark Nawaqanitawase, I think Mark N (Nawaqanitawase) should drop back to the SS for a bit with some work ons as he is not Super standard at present. I think Perese at IC is his best position he played well...

    Reds 2021

Yes I did mean Robertson, and yes he was a wallaby who when took the field for them folded like the SPUD he is.Have a look at the angle he is packing into TT, without Holmes there he gets folded and ends up on his face. He will never gain higher selection barring a bunch of injuries.
  19. James GC

    Reds 2021

Yeah I'd agree with most of what he says, Holmes is an excellent front row operator Robinson is a spud we should have been able to hold our own without the skullduggery. Maybe TT doesn't get the required challenge in training from the wider squad.

Super Rugby Rnd 6: Waratahs v Reds

Be nice if the Reds front row pushed straight this week and JOC (James O'Connor) stopped dropping back to FB, Jock is much better under the high ball and his clearance kicks are as good if not better anyways.
