Amazing to watch: the drama of being behind, last play of the game, then Atiola clinching it with a try, taking the game, and the championship. Tragic for View, but elation for Newington. Loved the pitch invasion. Moments like this are pretty rare. My footage:

Not sure yet, the other games may be better contests. Last yr's View v Scots at Lane Cove was a cracker.

Near-full footage of the Joeys v New 1st's game for anyone interested. Sensational hot day, was looking into the sun but with some cooling gusts of wind blowing right to left (enough to mess up some line out throws).

I would have put Tyrone at 13 and Duvall at 11 [thinking of Duvall's try, created by TT, v Scots in r1]. I always assumed he was on the wing this year because Murray & Kennewell were best in class [&NSW&Australia]?

Nice write up of a thrilling game, just wanted to add there was an interesting section of play just before halftime when New should have gone to oranges ahead. They had a rolling maul charging towards the goal line, but the ball carrier "went over" 2metres too early and it looked like he mistook...

Just one or two short bursts, was enjoying the sun most of the time. Recorded a couple of tries from the 16A's, and a couple from the 3s & 2s. Not had a chance to look at any of it yet, but will post them up in due course. Let me know if it was anything specific you were hoping to see.

There was an on-field assessment of the fullback. I don't know exactly how long it took cos I turned away. I edited out more than 30secs of footage after I had turned back. You have to remember that the medico may not have seen the incident or the stumble [often they are deep in thought...
