Why what? Training run Not hitting out against Pryor-Lees or the need for a new tax imposition tomorrow?

I know all the kids who played for that touring side last year - including my own Jr Coulda. No spies required. That boy of yours is a class act. Hope he finds the right job soonest. I will find you at Chatswood.

They have been playing well. Coming third in all three tables.

Hi Butts, I didn't have my computer with me over the weekend so didn't see your info on how to find you. I did ask a number of people if you were there. I didn't approach Jnr Butts because he was on the reserves bench. (Nice dressing gowns!!) You are right about the reasons for dismay...

My understanding is that they had an 80% opposed training run. I really can't see Kings putting their front row up against Oscar Pyor-Lees in a full game just before the season. Good idea to have an opposed run though.

agree entirely. and this particular game was a beauty. Easts being rightly pumped at their victory. In fact, generally, 3rd Grade Colts are really good to watch. Maybe not as fast in execution as the higher grades, but really high standard of the basics that make for fun and entertainment.

    Shute Shield 2014

Too bloody right. Keep it up you knuckleheads and you won't be able to find a ref for love or money. See my post in Sydney Colts about the boorish behavior of the Gordon Colts Coaching team during and after the game. Listen carefully - when you play Rugby you make a mutual contract to observe...

Uni v Gordon yesterday. First off in 3rd Grade Uni played Easts. Easts stepped up and had an earned win. Sorry to see final try scorer for Easts neck braced and stretchered, then Ambo. Trust all is well. 2nd Grade. Gordon turned up to play and scored early, but steamrolled thereafter. Gordon...

Uni have a large number of changes in first this weekend but they are all coached to play in the same manner and I suggest the changes will not rattle them. If they can stay patient and do the work in the middle of the paddock they will be a special to watch. The ironic danger is that like last...

Uni at Home to Gordon. I will be there. You going Butts? Look for Uni to get their defense sorted, to make better choices (I hope) and to be patient in attack. Christian K has been selected for 2nd Grade - I predict pain for Gordon as he plays out of his skin to get back into 1's.

Norths were very energetic last week. They had clearly been working on blitz defense and it rattled uni who were out-enthused. Manly v Norths will be a good game

And will that mean 4 times less likely that the sire will pass the ball?

Yep - that too. What are you going to do? Check out the details of Lord Mountbatten. Some people like names, lots of them. Would be an interesting study for some Sociology major.

You are probably right. That is the point. All this to curtail Uni? Maybe. If you have a good program and people want to be part of it - go for it!. Randwick certainly made the most of their success. Manly and Souths are climbing that ladder with aplomb. I believe in free markets and hate the...

We are OK. The Coaching staff are very talented and look to play a form of rugby which relies on fitness and moving the ball at pace. They are coaching their teams to do this from third grade colts upward. They also make sure that set pieces are rock solid. Note the scrum against Pirates last...

    Shute Shield 2014

I get the pretentious bit, But. I once coached a kid with two names. He did it because his mum was profligate with men but he wanted to give some honour to her most recent alliance whom he respected. (and who knows what else). Be careful. After she moved on, he did also. One name thereafter.
