    Eastwood look a shadow of their former greatness. The D against Wests was embarrassing. Miller and co had so much speed they could score a try from anywhere. Don't think the current XV are in the same class.

    Curious to know what everyone thinks. Clubs named after schools such as Barker and Knox. Do they get many players that didn't actually go to those schools? Surely a non old boy looking for a club would head towards one named after a suburb or district.

    AFL are very busy getting in every school and doing camps and coaching sessions and the Paul Kelly Cup. It's at least making kids go home and say to Mum and Dad 'Can I play AFL?'

    From my limited understanding the amateur policy seems to be working. I just don't get how under the table type payments can be policed. Having said that it appears to me that it seems to have stopped.
