Field 1 looked better than field 2 which looks like it has 2 cricket pitches in it and bald patches all over the place. I just hope the grounds hold up with this rain and the amount of games. Be a shame for the tournament if it was affected by the weather.

Well, all the division 1 teams go into camp on Sunday, so good luck to them all. Looking forward a strongly contested competition played in great spirit. Also looking forward to reading the views of those of you attending the games. Always interesting to read what others see.

Anyone brave enough to make a prediction as to the placings? I have no clue having seen the draw between Sydney and Country a narrow Schools victory over Sydney and then read about the underwhelming game between Sydney and Brumbies. Are Qld or Victoria likely to bring something to the mix?

I think I read it was NSWJRU 15's and 17's and SJRU 16's.

Morgan is no longer in the squad, Milne played and did a solid job and I am pretty sure Kagiassis played. IMO Milne, Tepai and Kellaway the best 3 backs for schools today.

I see how it works, just seems like a bit of a hollow victory making the final without winning the game. After all it is not a final series, it is just a one off game. All that said, I am looking forward to the game next weekend, should be interesting.

16A semi final was not much of an affair today. Ended in a 7-7 draw between Norths and Hawkesbury, the latter goes through to the final against Merrylands thanks to their position on the table. That seems like a strange rule to me. Surely you should have to win a semi to progress?
