    QLD GPS Rugby 2017

Bianco, The least you can do is get your assumptions half accurate. ONLY 2 boys left BSHS for GT. One was a regular in 14A's the other in and out of B's. One went to league. Anyway it is funny. . . BSHS will finish top 2, I think GT will go well and will be competitive. . top 4 finish.

My top 4 for 2017: TSS Nudgee BSHS BBC BSHS will surprise a few. If they can find a way to win a fair share of their lineout then I think they will be super competitive. Moses Alo-Emile will captain the boys to a repeat stand alone Premier, along with Anesta, Clinton and Stan da man.. Jordan...

    QLD GPS Rugby 2017

REDS U/20's are looking extremely impressive, with their 3rd win in a row, and an absolutely dominant performance against the Waratahs 20's who I think were the only other undefeated team. Great to see so many of our gps boys stepping up to this next level from school boys rugby last year. In...

Realist, If you are stating that most here agree, "that school boy rugby is a great product and entertaining, it always has been." then you ask the questions: At what cost? . . .based on your assumption that the direction the schools seem to be taking it down(gps rugby). My simple but complex...

    QLD GPS Rugby 2017

GPS rugby has been the proven (road well travelled)pathway to a rugby career if the kid has talent and a whole lot of self belief and determination. We are still seeing strong evidence of this when the yr 11 boys compete with the more established yr 12 boys for positions in the 1st XV, and sure...

Here's my perspective(s). I am a coach, parent, critic, and sports lover (in no particular order) kinda guy. . . so Vegas here is my response: At what cost? If youre a parent who paid for your education a lot of maccas. If youre a principal. . .winning 1st Xv gps rugby premiers means dealing...

If you are in Bne, Rebels 20's play the REDs 20's at Brothers rugby club this saturday. Interesting to see some familiar faces from last years school boys, at REDs training under the watchful eye of coaches and brilliant mentors : Brad Thorn and Paul Corrozza. Pathway seems to be flourishing and...

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2017

EXciting times for Australian Schoolboys rugby. As it is every 4 yrs, Australian schoolboys rugby team has a huge itinerary planned for 2017. The usual factory outlets to produce the bulk of the team would again be NSW and Qld, with ACT & Vic closing the gap nicely. I have been out to watch the...

Its obviously early days yet to ascertain with any certainty who will be genuine contenders for the 1st XV title in 2017. If BBC has that number of key forwards returning(5), then they will definitely be a dominant forward pack. Key players I believe will impact the competition(based on G&G...

Gents, it was neither of the 2 locks mentioned and Im a bit embarrassed I let a parent investigate for me as there were definitely no tall timber like those two. I have also heard the rumour Angus B is indeed contracted to the REDS, however I did not see him with the main REDS squad training...
