I think cause it was an U17 comp. The Aus side was pretty much picked from last years tournament. Boys are then invited to camps. I think there's a cut after each camp. You will probably find this years group will pop up in the Aus side for next year.

Yes they did. They played there 3rds and 2nds while the 1st squad trained. It was close up till half time. Then it blew out. Nudgee did well but were out classed in the end.

I think if you go back to the first year of JGC where the rebels were very successful, you will find most of these boys in it. Whether be top age 15's who won or bottom age 17's who lost to WA.
