John I. Dent Cup 2016 - ACT Premier Rugby

I watched both grades. The second grade game was also a cracker. Gilltrap was outstanding for the 2s backs. Blackmore, McGrath and Junior seemed to carry the load in the forwards. This Vikings 2s team could be very dangerous going forward with some of the Brumbies guys coming back into club...

John I. Dent Cup 2016 - ACT Premier Rugby

Thanks ROTG as I didn't get to the game its good to get a number of views. Heard that the Vikings had a couple of backs carrying what appeared to be obvious injuries yet weren't subbed at any stage. If this was the case, it seems odd that the coach would not trust his reserves and look after his...

Good on him. The Rebels appear to be really good at trusting in the youngsters. Reckon the Brumbs would be hesitant to give Tyrel any games for a year or so whereas the Rebs will no doubt give him a bit of bench time next year

Yeah , nothing much eventuated last time they met. From memory, they were both fairly quiet

John I. Dent Cup 2016 - ACT Premier Rugby

Yeah tend to agree with you No8. Whites will certainly have the edge in the forwards as whoever gets pushed to 2nds will just make an already good pack better. While Butler will certainly help tuggers top side, whoever drops down does not appear to have the same impact. Vikings 2nd grade...

John I. Dent Cup 2016 - ACT Premier Rugby

Hmmm sorry No8 that's like saying "I nearly scored a try". Anyway as the Vikings proved last year, unbeaten does not mean unbeatable. For the sake of an argument, lets assume the Whites and Vikings meet come GF day in 2nds (No offence Eagles). What 1st graders will be pushed down with the...
