I thought you had been unusually quiet this week Lee. How you holding up? Nah, seriously thats a tough break for the kid. Hopefully he bounces back quickly. Are the Tahs going on any sort of development tour this year??

And Lachlan Mckay? Just wondering who the back up to Gits is. Daruda... anyone else? Just looked at the tour list... I guess OConnor could cover 10 but would you put such a young kid there?? Thus I think Valentine is actually a very smart purchase. Gives you a solid 9 and a plausible 10 in...

    Western Force 2009

As long as he is on low money I actually think he is a pretty decent pick up. With consistent game time he has the ability to become a very solid S14 player. Plus in desperate times he offers a back up 10 or helps if you want to pick a 5/2 bench. Has Hilgendorf left the Force?

    Brumbies 2009

I dont like being so negative (unless it is about SHarpe) and someone can save this for the shame thread but if Shaun McKay starts a game for the brumbies then I will.... well I dont know what I'll do but I will be very very surprised. Even with the lack of Tall Timber in Australia I cant see...

Did Beaumont ever get any game time with the brumbies? What did people think of him? I rated him as a kind of a McCormack type player for Uni. Solid and capable of filling gaps in higher levels when injuries hit.

And I read an article which said NSW may have found an answer to their goalkicking woes with big Ratu knocking them over for the Wicks. But seriously, how many Waratah players were taking shots at goal for their clubs. Sheehan, Hangers, Ratu, Batger(?). A worry that we have no good kickers even...

    Queensland Reds 2009

I see Karmichael Hunt is being touted as the next league convert. I dare say its just a ploy to get more money out of the league clubs but who knows these days. If he was to change codes I would have thought he would do a Brad Thorn and head home to New Zealand. What was he like at school as a...

Huxley was another in the team. Well certainly NSW, he may not have made Australia. He and Hercus used to swap the 10 jersey for each game for GPS and NSW from memory.

I would say the white blokes are the only ones asking for it (especially the ones with their collars up) as in my experience it is the bruthas that complain to the refs the most.

Maybe your bruthas are racist and only hit white blokes. ;)

That record must be one of the worst in subbies. Even worse than Oakhill. Kick them out of the comp. Let me guess Nick. This game was at home?? Too far for the Harlequins boys to travel

Joeys have given their quota to Kings. The kings boys will then get injured so Joeys will end up winning GPS. Clever.

Can he kick?? Better watch out for the Swannies stealing him.

I see the argument behind having it more regionalised but I agree with NTA and think it would only serve to marginalise the west even more. Besides, where would subbies rugby be without bus trips to places like Newport or Campbelltown?
