Was I close about the Barker boy I guessed, I assume he was a centre in the Barker 16as?

    NSW CAS Rugby 2020

Yes I thought you meant the older one, very hard to pick this year, not long to go.

    NSW CAS Rugby 2020

Sounds like a mix up here, there are 2 WLF juniors, think you mean the older 1, now in the Opens?

    NSW CAS Rugby 2020

HA HA Touche Mr S, is your mates boy a handy 1st X1 Barker wicket keeper?

    NSW CAS Rugby 2020

No teams picked yet, probably for any school side I would assume. Junior WLF is playing soccer, what relationship do you have to Barker?

    NSW CAS Rugby 2020

Yep well aware ZHC, not sure why such comments occur, particularly in relation to a sensitive topic, let's all stick to footy.

Nothing like a bit of banter, and as well all know, nothing we say will change anything. Mr S seems to have some info on the Waves positional battles, and WTF is always good for a reply comment (many of which are pretty funny). Axel likes to watch! Bring on the season!

Mr S, Yes its clear that Barker are hot favs, followed by Cranbrook, Knox,Trinity and Aloys, hard to pick a winner here.

Agree B3P, Ned is a great young man and player, hope he will be back next year. Also agree that you will need to watch our for your biggest threat, Trinity.

    NSW CAS Rugby 2020

Hi Snort, The CAS board of schools was meeting today to develop/lock in this plan around the timing you mentioned. There will be trials mid July prior to the start of the CAS comp. I will post any relevant info as I hear it.

Nice work Flav, my intel is school footy is being planned for term 3, with the Athletics season being shortened by a few weeks, which I think makes sense as both sports will be able to be completed.

    NSW CAS Rugby 2020

Hi mate, trust you are all well! If we get to play the CAS comp in term 3, what is the format at Easts? By that I mean, do the 1sts and 2nds play on the Friday night before the sat, what time, or is it just the 1sts? I assume all other Cranbrook home games in that round are played at...

    NSW AAGPS 2020

Hi Rich, hope you are well, There is talk within the CAS of possibly shortening the Athletics season by a few weeks, which follows our Rugby season, ie less Athletic lead up meets before the actual Athletic Championship day. So maybe starting the Rugby season a bit later and conducting all...

Hello Mr Skellet! Agree, those 2 years would stand up well.

    NSW CAS Rugby 2020

Yes Snort, the Joeys side was red hot, Sydney high was also red hot and came so close to winning it, I think Joeys beat them by 2, Scots was also very good. Maybe any GPS watchers can help re names, in fact there was plenty of interest, as always, to see the GPS winners play the CAS winners, but...

    NSW CAS Rugby 2020

Agree Snort about 1979 although some of the Aussie schoolboy selections were disgraceful, 2 boys I know 1 from Scots and 1 from Barker (you probably know who) were at this level for sure and better than the boys who got in. My 2 bobs worth is 1981, both Joeys and Waves had tremendous teams...

    NSW CAS Rugby 2020

Dear Snort, I can't imagine anyone in their right mind would disagree with any of your points, they are all true, and luv your analogies, even if they are wrong,ha! Assuming this takes 6 months to create a clear environment, what I think the schools may consider is an abbreviated comp, eg only...

    NSW AAGPS 2020

Many thanks Rudderless, Even though I am a CAS supporter I watched it all, brilliant and congrats to all the teams and schools, especially Scots for winning their 5th major title. Also extremely glad that these boys, families and teachers were able to have their day in the sunshine after many...
