    CAS 2019

Ha, Yep no question Lindfield won the breakdown and defended well, and deserved to win! Glad its all over now, too much footy in this age group imo, that's why half of both teams were on the side line. So in the end we lost the GF by 4 points, won more club games than anyone else, and won every...

    CAS 2019

Yep, agree WTF. Lindfield deserved to win no question. Unfortunately the guy in the middle had an absolute shocker, if you have a look at the vid it was horrendous, but we made too many mistakes and Lindfield were solid. We look forward to seeing how the Opens go next year!

    NSW CAS Rugby 2020

Yep, I don't think my "source"is correct either, I only know of 1 boy (the same as you) not 3-4 as suggested, as I pointed out. Just wanted to put this to bed, don't believe it either. P.S. Don't know who the "source" is, but do know who the mum is, and so do you! HA!

    NSW CAS Rugby 2020

Yes more than aware FRugger, However we only know of 1, and that is not a done deal yet. When we played Brook a few weeks ago, 1 Brook mother was more than happy to let me know that a Waves boy was definitely being approached, pretty much rubbing my nose in it. So my reply was well let's wait...

    NSW CAS Rugby 2020

Snort, I think most of the team suggestions are fairly close to the money, there is a lot of depth next year at Waves, and sounds like some other schools as well. As you know, the pre-season can reveal some new things as boys develop, time will tell, it's still very early. What I can point out...

    CAS 2019

Ok, it is now all done and dusted for the CAS and GPS, and maybe ISA schools, a HUGE CONGRATS to Barker and Joeys for back to back premierships wins. It takes a lot to win in just 1 year but 2 in a row shows a lot of belief. v.good training and culture. A hell of a lot of work goes into this...

    NSW AAGPS 2019

Very selective games you have chosen here, there is no longer a big gap between the top GPS and CAS schools. If you look at many more games over the last 2-3 years you will have noticed that last year Barker beat all GPS,except a close 1 v View, and the year before Waves thrashed most GPS...

    NSW AAGPS 2019

The GPS comp is yes extremely strong, but by far, rubbish. The gap between the GPS and CAS associations has closed dramatically in recent years, and in ages gone by the CAS was equal to or stronger, depends on the year. Very aware that some/most GPS supporters would prefer to live within their...

It is all positive and your observations above are correct, I wan't suggesting any change of coaching staff, I was supporting its maintenance.

    CAS 2019

Fair call, at some point in time everything does need to change. For me, until this coaching staff has had enough and the results aren't coming (given reasonable teams) then I will back them. The next 3 years will be a case in hand, as they will have the talent required to do well.

    NSW AAGPS 2019

Ha ha, by the way, swarming at the breakdown, like Goblins, will beat most teams!
  13. WLF

    CAS 2019

Agree, re the coaches, they are both extremely talented and dedicated and have a strong win record. No school wins all the time, which is clearly a good thing. but all try to, and that's what counts! Who would be a coach or a ref.

    CAS 2019

Has, he is baiting you! Ignore his dribble.

    CAS 2019

WTF, Given the strong performances of Barker over the last 2 years, they are clearly on a roll re their Rugby program, what's your prediction going forward, eg next 1-3 years?
  16. WLF

    CAS 2019

WTF, Barker are certainly on a roll, what's your prediction over the next 1-3 years?

    CAS 2019

Congrats to Barker 1sts today, too good and well deserved winners.

Agree WTF, Do you have a boy in the 16as?

    CAS 2019

Snort, I will definitely be watching the Ashes, like you and many others. I have 2 boys and it is my turn to watch by younger boy this week at QP so I will miss the 16as game at Barker at 9am. Having said that the 16a game was my preference due to its CAS comp meaning. Will you by chance be at...
