    Qld Premier Rugby 2013

Didn't know Toua had a poor run with facial injuries? Silly statement.....move on. Still no team lists?

Fractured Cheek Bone, or something along those lines. Any injury is unfortunate, but I for one am thankful it wasn't his problematic hamstrings. He got through pretty much the whole season un-injured, which is great for him. Unless the Reds recruit someone major, I think Toua and JJ Taulagi are...

I agree TD, a lot of people associate running game with Toua, but his left foot kicking has been great this year. I still think we have enough fire power outside though, just means Brandon will have to take most of the kicking responsibilities.

They are usually out around midday. Dom Shipperely is out for Brothers, massive loss for them, although Damon Murphy and Michael Bond are good to go again.

    Qld Premier Rugby 2013

It is a bit contentious. Especially when you see that there is two Wests players, a side that finished well below the front-runners, while there is no player from University, Brothers, Sunnybank or Souths, all who were around the finals. What Cat_A said a page or two back is fairly accurate...

    Reds 2014

Am not a fan of that selection at all. Even when he was fit he couldn't start for GPS, and no disrespect to their hooker, he wasn't one of the stand-outs. Ngaumo and Ready would have been way better options, maybe both will be included in the wider training group as well. To be fair though, I...

    Qld Premier Rugby 2013

Jack Mullins & Matty Brandon are among the 5 running for the Alec Evans Medal. Anyone know who the other three players are? Very surprised Chucky has made that group, I can name 5 Easts players that have been better than him this year, let alone 5 from other clubs. No complaints about Brandon...

Not to buy into that argument, just a bit gutted that it was Aiden Toua who was injured. Easily the best fullback (best player?) in the competition this year. Freakish everytime he touches the ball. Fortunately we have Jonah Placid to play at 15 and then bring Wilder or Sean Cox into the wing.

Gunny was a late withdrawal, so that was Josh Parry who got the yellow (no surprises there).

This is actually hilarious, by everyone. Stop fucking bickering. It shits me to tears all this petty arguing about other clubs. Believe it or not some of us simply just like heading down to their local footy club every Saturday afternoon and watching the team they love...

It's GPS to lose. My hope is for the tigers to make the final, anything more is a bonus

Not really a big call, they finished 1 & 2?

    Reds 2014

While out at Wests yesterday heard that Michael Gunn & Jonah Placid (both Easts) have been training with the Reds. Good to see these two are on the radar, especially Gunn who has been noticed on Premier Rugby performances alone. Also heard Aiden Toua might be turning out for Hawkes Bay in the...

Aus vs NZ - 1st Test Sydney 17Aug2013

Horwill getting some flack here.... I actually thought he was okay, and his ball running was the best it's been for a while. But then again, we got fucked at the breakdown, and he's one of the players who are responsible for that area of play.

Where did we go wrong? Wallaby Recovery thread.

THIS! Agree completely. I thought Simmons had a very solid game. Not outstanding by any means but he did more than Douglas did the entire Lions series.

Where did we go wrong? Wallaby Recovery thread.

Player Wise The Great: Michael Hooper The Good: Rob Simmons, Adam Ashley-Cooper The OK: James Slipper, Liam Gill, Quade Cooper, James Horwill The "Wait they were playing?": Israel Folau The Jekyll & Hyde: James O'Connor, Tevita Kuridrani The Poor: Will Genia, Ben Alexander, Ben Mowen, Matt...

and they finish in that order.. GPS, Easts, University, Brothers. Wests were annoyingly good this arvo, especially at the breakdown, they really gave it their all. Toby White was Easts best, the pack needs to stand up next week if they have any chance to beat GPS

    Qld Premier Rugby 2013

Pretty awesome that the minor premiership will be decided today and 4 teams are in with a shot. So from what I can gather.... GPS: Simply need to win, or at least lose with 2 bonus points to take it (with Brothers losing). Brothers: Need GPS to lose to Sunnybank, and to win with a bonus...

I think Kerevi, Brandon and Greene would be the front runners as well. Suspect it will be Greene because of Cat A's explanation. Kerevi probably deserves it though
