Vikings dont have a home game till RD 5 I think - they have 2 ovals ready to rock and roll - I am sure if at least the 1st Grade games needed to be played they could be played over a Saturday at Vikings Park. I think next week regardless they will have to play....

Pretty shit news for all players and people involved/people wanting to watch - I would say if it was later into the season they would of let it go - but due to it being 1st round they prob dont want the ovals destroyed over one weekend and then they are having to pay to get them fixed throughout...

Gunners V Uni will be interesting - purely from a "what have uni done in the off-season" point of view...because last season was very poor for those guys. Also Vikings V Easts - Vikings looking very strong as normal/Easts as people have said are putting good developments things in place...

Yea have not heard anything from Easts this year - Osbourne (might be incorrect spelling) did do alot last year in regards to building - 2012 must of been the worst year in their history nearly... I hope they do well though....wonder what their 3rds/4th grade teams are looking like...

I would say all these guys that you mentioned (Tim Cree, Rodney Iona, Tom Staniforth, Alan Alaatoa) - will be in the side for sure - def at least Tim Cree and Staniforth... This is the whole point of the comp anyway - so they need to include all these sorts of players...

Great win by Syd Uni on the weekend. ....but on a side note....no shute shield team should be able to have more than 5 Super Rugby players in their squad....

There has not been much update around the South Coast comp - a draw has not even been brought out.......one thing that happened yesterday though which is always sad to see - Narooma Whales have pulled OUT of the 2014 season due to lack of numbers - because of players going to other codes, work...
