    NZ domestic competitions 2018

Hurricanes and Highlanders are the names I've heard. Presumably the Blues are interested too, but who knows with Tony Hanks and Umaga ... Abel is a nephew of the Goings, and is a late bloomer due to taking time off to do several Mormon missions. Seems to have bloomed this year. :)

    NZ domestic competitions 2018

Jack Whetton has been really good for Auckland. High workrate, strong defence and ball carrying. Not slow either. Much improved since his time with the Brumbies. Being chased by NZ Super Rugby teams from what I've heard.

    NZ domestic competitions 2018

Robbie Abel has been tearing it up for Auckland. Probably the form hooker of the competition. Dargaville has been poor for Harbour. No power in attack or defence. Doesn't look like a centre, looks like a slim wing trying to play centre. Centre is real weak spot for Harbour this year.

    Rebels 2018

Agreed. Certainly better than playing in Japan. I thought he was pretty good in 2016, and was very unlucky not to get more time at 10 last year (behind the mediocre Garden-Bachop). Looking forward to watching him play for Northland.

British & Irish Lions tour of New Zealand (2017)

Winning the 2015 World Cup made NZ rugby fans soft and complacent. We were poor in this series, and shouldn't bloody lose at home. We lost to Ireland last year and were dire on the EOYT. We were flattered by historically poor Australian and South African teams. All Black teams should not...
