    CAS Rugby 2012

This years' CAS selections are now up for grabs IMO, moreso given the poor form of Trinity. Some will inevitabley disagree with me here but reputation and status goes a long way in rugby and selectors are not as 'Fickle' some might believe. Nevertheless the 'CAS U/16 Class of 2011' for mine was...

Could not agree with you more CTPE. Those three just ooze class. An interesting conundrum for Milne will be what he does if he is selected in the NSWRL U/18 team for 'State of Origin II'. After all it is now getting to the business end of the rugby season as far as selections are concerned...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2012

I know they're still only trials however from these games rep selections are made. To date we have had some tight tussles which is obviously going to make selections hard! Can anyone lend any comments to the battle of the halves and centres. In particular I'm interested in hearing how Lussick...

    CAS Rugby 2012

I know my sparring partner MOTH will add to my comments, however it was my view at the end of last season that Trinity were going to be a formidable unit in 2012 (surpassing even the class of 2011). This is a team that has been carefully assembled, trained and prepared from my understanding and...

    CAS Rugby 2012

Where is the Trinty game at, please tell its at 'Slummer Hill' (and yes the pun is intended as the suburb itself was once upon a time my old stomping ground when the surrounding district was slightly more working class ... Lol). I'm hoping so because I haven't had the time to wash my helicopter...

    NSW CHS Rugby 2012

Gotta love rugby pedigree! His old man was definitely a victim of political selections. Only played one test for Australia, did nothing wrong IMO, and never seen another a much coveted gold jersey again! However he got one where many others never did, he just deserved a few more! Played against...

    NSW CHS Rugby 2012

Any relation to Peter Kay, ex-Wallaby and Parramatta 1st Grade prop who played rugby for approximately 150 years or so ... Lol

NSW Schools - Trial Games and Selections 2012

WS, This topic attracted much debate in the 'NSW U/16 2011' thread last year! Rule of thumb with few high profile rugby and league people I have met with in recent time (including one current NRL coach) is that no junior should be playing more than 32-35 games a year if they have aspirations...

    NSW CHS Rugby 2012

Mr Bump, When I posted my comments I was going off another post in this thread that made reference to Ridgway being the coach! I take people on face value in this site and subscribe to the view that fellow posters would not deliberately post information that is not true! Nevertheless there are...

    NSW CHS Rugby 2012

It's interesting that the coach is from the Illawarra, probably explains the heavy Shire representation (and perhaps the lack of very talented and experienced 'Dual Codies' from western Sydney).

He would not have had the chance! He was in Melbourne representing the NSWRL U/16's at SOO 1 when the trials were on I believe!

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2012

Lee, I could not agree with more! In 2009 when Stewart was selected for the Australian U/15 League team he did so via the NSWCCC RL team where in fact he was voted 'Most Valuable Player' NSWCCC player of the 2009 tournament! Tuttle as you say was an absolute gun at the U/16 nationals. For me...

IS, Those pleading ostensible authority are usually the people who have placed reliance upon a statement (in this case 'a position in the oz schools team'); acted upon the statement to the their detriment (in this case the lad opting, as Horne did, to walk away from a guaranteed league deal)...

Welcome Manlyboy! And I agree with you mate, however you're going to have to start up your own CHS thread. Feel free to park it next to my oft neglected thread called 'NSWCCC Rugby 2012' down in pauper-ville ... lmao!

    NSW U/16 Rugby 2012

IS, I am somewhat mystified that you have interpreted my post as being inflammatory! From experience I know it is very easy for posts on forums to be misconstrued however I thought my use of the word “RESPECTFULLY” would have negated such a perception; obviously not! And given that this is not...

Lee, Without getting overly legalistic there is no correct answer to enforceability. It depends on the individual circumstances of each contract and whether or not it complies with the NSW 'Minors (Contracts & Property) Act 1970.

IS, Please read my post carefully. The person to whom I refer does have the authority! With respect to 'snubbing' I will respectfully disagree with you here; in support I will make reference to the story of current Wallaby 'Rob Horne'!
