A great day down at Somerville for the Epping v UNSW clash today; 1st went to Uni, 2nd to Epping and there was a big crowd at Epping to cheer the boys in blue onwards... What I noticed was that all of the games were played with passion and within the right spirit - great day for Subbies rugby...

Also WLF - how did your 15A game go today? Our 'mate with the whistle' was doing Subbies Seniors today...

I must say the #12 for 16A Waves was very good today, and while smaller then his counterpart was difficult to handle and kicked goals very well...

Are you talking about the 16A or the 1st XV WLF? The 16A game appeared never to be in doubt as the 16A Waves team was all over the Scots team in all facets of play.. (I had to leave before the 1st XV game unfortunately...)

There was nothing wrong with the officiating, Scots definitely had more PK than Waves, the Scots lads had their opportunities but dropped the ball too often with opportunities beckoning; well done to the Waves 16A team to win away from death valley...

Interesting, it was only a few seasons back when High lost to Pius by 30+ (and High had Gen-U20 player Sam Musgrove in their team) There are 2 x reasons for this recent scoreline: Most of High's current 1st XV squad has been together for the last four seasons, and they have been a strong 'A'...
