    The Wallaby gameplan

Argentina showed there is room between the AB's scrum and 1st 5. McCaw and Read both took off from the scrum at a million miles an hour and imo that was to protect the 1st 5. Maybe an area to target if the Wallabies get a steady scrum. Also, weather for Sunday is starting to look better...

    Has Burger been cited?

I didn't think the Vickerman one on Brussow was deliberate. I thought Brussow copped a stray knee to the head after he'd fallen on the wrong side of the ruck. Maybe you could have an argument about the way Vickerman joins rucks but I really don't believe it was the case this time. (this is...

    RWC 2011 - Quarter final 3 : Springbokke v. Wallabies CLOSED

My favorite part of the match was when Pocock, ball in hand, absolutely steamrolled Brussow. Brussow really didn't know what hit him and looked dazed from then till he went off.

    RWC 2011 - Quarter final 3 : Springbokke v. Wallabies CLOSED

I disagree about Two Dads. He played the ref brilliantly and slowed down a lot of the Boks ball by getting his hands on it during the ruck. Can't expect a centre to do much on 20% possession.

    RWC 2011 - Quarter final 3 : Springbokke v. Wallabies CLOSED

The author Mark Reason has been writing complete rubbish for NZ papers during the tournament too. The guy is a complete fu*ken tool. Just writes his articles to wind up fans.

    RWC 2011 QF4: NZ v Argentina (W Pool A v RU Pool B)

And Pocock is lauded in OZ (as he should be). Yet he spends a lot of the game coming in from the wrong side, supports his body weight by leaning on players on the ground and gets stuck on the wrong side of the ruck. McCaw is a blight just like Pocock, Brussow and Warburton. The premier...

    RWC 2011 - Quarter final 3 : Springbokke v. Wallabies CLOSED

Great win by OZ. Congrats to the OZ posters and commiserations to the Saffas here. Was such a close game, Pocock being the difference imo. The guy played like Ritchie in his heyday and was in to everything, from everywhere.

    RWC 2011 - Quarter final 3 : Springbokke v. Wallabies CLOSED

I do think OZ chances of a win increase with fine weather though.

    RWC 2011 - Quarter final 3 : Springbokke v. Wallabies CLOSED

It's a beautiful day here in Wellington for those that were worried about rain. Only a breath of wind at the moment too. Should be a cracker of a match.

    RWC 2011 - Quarter final 3 : Springbokke v. Wallabies CLOSED

I dunno Blue. The way the Boks play is perfect for knockout rugby where defence tightens up and attacking teams are a bit more nervous about offloading that final 50/50 pass. This game is even harder to pick as who knows what Wallaby team will turn up. Bled 1 not interested team or the bled 2...

    RWC 2011 - Quarter final 3 : Springbokke v. Wallabies CLOSED

That wasn't about manning up. It was about taking a soccer like dive to milk a card. Anyway, Boks have been named South Africa: 15 Pat Lambie, 14 JP Pietersen, 13 Jaque Fourie, 12 Jean de Villiers, 11 Bryan Habana, 10 Morné Steyn, 9 Fourie du Preez, 8 Pierre Spies, 7 Schalk Burger, 6...

    Dan Carter out of cup

All depends on the player. If you guys lost Genia I'd be pretty gutted as I love watching the guy play. He's a real master and I really wish he played for NZ. However, I wouldn't give two sh1ts if Cooper was injured out of the tournament. Just don't like the guy.

RWC 2011 - Pool D - Fiji, Namibia, Wales, South Africa, Samoa

I think there is a few very frustrated Bok supporters who are gutted the TMO didn't "offer" extra information.

RWC 2011 - Pool D - Fiji, Namibia, Wales, South Africa, Samoa

I don't believe Smit deserved his yellow. Penalty I can understand as there was no way he was going to make that intercept. Makes you wonder if he knew he'd made the wrong call in red carding Williams. (though I realise he had no choice after what the ass ref told him)

Not only that but Owens went on to tell P.Williams that it was fine and Peterson was onside. Shocking call. I think that's the first time I've seen a Bok take a dive like a soccer player. Real shame as they're the last team I'd expect it from.

Which country has the best supporters

I reckon Wallaby supporters. They're still turning up in big numbers despite knowing that the majority of them will be spat on, have beer poured on them, cop verbal abuse, be pushed down stairs and maybe even have one of our MPs have a go at them. Now that's commitment. :p I'm in the...

    Rugby spirit

I actually thought Collins left the field briefly in the 1st half for blood? Not sure at what time or if it was after said incident.

    RWC - Wallabies v Ireland - 17th September 2011

Yep thought it was a great game. I do agree about the time wasting though. Like when it was Irelands lineout and one of their backs was injured so the Irish hooker went down with a "neck injury". Was frustrating.
