Instead of Hodge being on the bench and coming on to plug a gap late in the game I’d start him at 5/8, play a disciplined game plan in the 1st half and bring Lolesio/O’Connor/Foley on in the 2nd half to play a more expansive style and shift Hodge to the gap that needs filling.
I was thinking from the points for and against point of view. I’d be interested to know the last time a team winning outright only had +55 and 6th place only -24.
I hope old Matty from Riverview is allowed to put on his goal kicking masterclass at halftime again at Leichhardt.
He was in good form last week, just fell a bit short from the 22m line a couple of times.
I hadn’t seen him before but he seems like a legend and the only halftime entertainment...

I do get the historical aspect and appreciate that your father would have loved competing against the best athletes of the day but in rugby they don’t get the chance to test themselves against the best and I just feel for the kids in year 12 spending time on highways that could be better spent...
Can’t help but feel for the TAS kids. It’s got to be close to a 20 hour round trip by bus to get to their games in Sydney (or 16 hours by car). Must make studying for their HSC a lot harder.
I get the prestige of playing in the GPS competition is important for the school but I’m not so sure how...
just double checked and the schedule says
12pm: SIC 16A’s vs Grammar 16A’s
12.30pm: Shore 16A’s vs Grammar 16A’s
1pm: Shore 16A’s vs SIC 16A’s
All of them are scheduled for the same oval at Northbridge suggesting a mini tournament of sorts so I guess you will need to treat the halves as full...
