There are world cup qualifiers every four years. There is a british and irish lions series once every 12 years. We are in denial if we cannot see the trend that is happening. From the wallabies, to the shute shield, to the grass roots, rugby is in decline (be that relatively or absolutely).

That's a pretty damming assessment of Deans. Its strange as they seemed quite chummy at the crusaders. In the excerpts from the article I read in the SMH McCaw essentially states the he told Steve Tew that Henry would be a better coach than Deans.

I can see o'neill doing something like that but , that article is a load of shit. O'neill was never considered. I wouldnt be surprised if he threw his name out there for the media beat up. David Potts, who was a chief executive of tesco's, was considered to be the second choice of man city.
