    SVNS Series 2023/24

Our girls folded under good pressure from the Kiwis. Both the US and NZ Womens teams have opted for deep kick offs with heavy pressure then on the opponent's try line as they attempt to get out. The strategy has worked well for both countries. It will be an interesting match up in the Gold...

Yes. She and Sharni Smale made the Dream Team for LA

    SVNS Series 2023/24

Strange mens tournament with three of the four teams playing for medals coming from the bottom half of the table

    SVNS Series 2023/24

Henry Hutchison played well and was instrumental in the 7th place play off win over USA with numerous turnovers. The women have all played well with Teagan Levi playing strongly after coming back from suspension. Still missing Lefau-Fakaosilea and Bienne Terita but the replacements have...

    SVNS Series 2023/24

Great effort so far by the men to get through such a tough pool with three out of three wins

    SVNS Series 2023/24

Good start by both men and women. Interesting to see Caslick rested and Teagan Levi back from suspenison for first game tomorrow.

    SVNS Series 2023/24

Yes. I find I have to click on 'Pick Event' in the top bar and then you can get into fixtures for the relevant tournament. Even then it is clunky having to click between days. Rugby Xplorer is also hit and miss with some tournaments on the system and others not (eg Vancouver was not but LA is)

    SVNS Series 2023/24

Appears Hooper did not make the cut and Longbottom still out for the men. The women have Teagan Levi (after the first match) and Faith Nathan returning but Lefau-Fakaosilea and Bienne Terita still out

    SVNS Series 2023/24

Men in a tough pool with NZ, USA and Samoa. Women have Ireland, Japan and then France. Will be interesting to see who is available in the lineups for this weekend.

    SVNS Series 2023/24

Boys to play South Africa for ninth place. I don't recall the last time RSA did not make the quarters.

    SVNS Series 2023/24

Girls through to the semis but depth is being tested with the injuries before and during the tournament. Boys having a poor tournament and really need a couple or wins now to secure ninth place and make the best of their disappointing performance.

    SVNS Series 2023/24

Unusual refereeing. I don't think there was a jackal paid the entire match which killed the flow.

    SVNS Series 2023/24

Outstanding outcome for Perth as hosts. Sell out crowd along with both Australian teams in the finals

    SVNS Series 2023/24

T Levi should now be back so our kick offs and conversion attempts should improve significantly

    SVNS Series 2023/24

Madi Levi apparently got four weeks so two games in Perth and the first two pool games in Vancouver.

    SVNS Series 2023/24

I thought the Aussie defence was also very good. They strangled the US attack and made very effective one on one tackles.

    SVNS Series 2023/24

So T. Levi back tomorrow for whichever of the Gold or Bronze finals in Perth and M. Levi out for at least the first game in Vancouver, and possibly miss all the pool rounds again. She looked petty distraught at letting her teammates down.

    SVNS Series 2023/24

Will M. Levi get more than 3 weeks for this red card coming so soon after the her last?

    SVNS Series 2023/24

Demi Hayes is the one out injured who would have been in our best squad

    SVNS Series 2023/24

Next crop of girls looking strong, with the U18 girls winning the Global 7s in Auckland. The boys were knocked out in the Semis with a narrow loss to eventual winners NZ.
