Some very good rugby played by a lot of teams across all the age groups. Orange 14's were very strong and took a big effort from Pink to beat them for a Finals spot. Pink very unlucky in the Final. 16 Blue very good as well, entertaining rugby and great weather over the weekend.

Yea same as last years format. I was interested in seeing the draw as they are saying it's not been released till Thursday 2nd. Keen to see what teams are ended up on which side of the draw, should be be some interesting match ups in games

Fans go to see a winning team, if the Reds can perform to an acceptable level then more than 10,000 fans will pay to come and watch them. Yea I seen that as well, seems a bit strange. Maybe it is to do with the cost change that has now occurred and the fact players now are forced to pay their Club the fee as the BJRU will not accept payment for their own teams. Makes you wonder who is selecting QRU, BJRU or Clubs

From what I understand Pink represents the South side of the City this year so natural to see Sunnybank & Souths make up the team

Agree 100% the standard has ranged from weak to very poor. It has cost teams games due to the poor standards. Develop elite players but develop elite refs to do the games as well. Best senior refs should be doing all these games to showcase the game as well as the players
