Dave Rennie didn't deserve to be saddled with this rabble. He made those bad career choices though.
Hooper the worst player on the park. Skelton poor too.
Paul Cully for Stuff gave both Ioane brothers 5/10 in his player ratings. He is obviously acting out after this result.
NZ rugby "journalists" really go out of their way attack those two. Very weird.

From the first two games, it seemed to me that Akira Ioane hit a lot of rucks, perhaps even more than he should have (he might have been better served being more selective and positioning himself as a ball carrier).
Turns out you were correct. :)

Robbie Abel appears to be one of four hookers signed by the Brumbies. Anyone know if he really is going to play for the Brumbies in 2019?

According to the Wikipedia page he has one year to go on his Brumbies contract. Would be happy to be corrected. :)

Hurricanes and Highlanders are the names I've heard. Presumably the Blues are interested too, but who knows with Tony Hanks and Umaga ...
Abel is a nephew of the Goings, and is a late bloomer due to taking time off to do several Mormon missions. Seems to have bloomed this year. :)
Jack Whetton has been really good for Auckland. High workrate, strong defence and ball carrying. Not slow either. Much improved since his time with the Brumbies. Being chased by NZ Super Rugby teams from what I've heard.
