My biggest issue with it was he's been one of, if not the most, consistent performers for the Wallabies over the past couple of years. Players don't get many opportunities to play in World Cups, and EJ (Eddie Jones) took that away for him without ever providing justification.
This is just plain wrong. In the days of old, when we would get 20k to every game the comms was just as much a mess as it is now. I fondly recall one year when they didn't even bother to proof read the season guide.
Pretty sure Pedro is now strength and conditioning coach at Royals, so that might explain why he's involved. He's been a massively important player over the years: https://act.rugby/news/behind-the-cups-with-pedro-rolando-2022826
It's not like he failed completely during his last stint here. From memory the Brumbies finished first in the Australian conference in 2 of his 3 years.
Wasn't much fun watching that (apart from the end). Lonergan had a terrible night at the lineouts. Rebels remind me a bit of Jake White-era Brumbies, ugly but effective.
I was always the second fastest in the team and played 'breakaway'. I has two jobs, tackle the opposition fly half when they won a scum and support anyone who made a line break. It wasn't until I saw Josh Kronfeld play that I figured out that maybe there was more to it than that.
