Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2016

Great hit out for Aussie Barbarians with Tonga putting up a good fight in a physical match. Aus was strong in set piece and dominated in forwards but Tonga looked dangerous in broken field play. Standouts for AUS were 5 Brown and 7 Pietsch in the forwards and 9 Jordan and 14 Rixon in the...

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2016

Great to hear another NSW player( and Newington boy) has been included in the squad. TT's power and size has always made him an asset

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2016

Brown and a number of other NSW players were hardly done by in the initial selections. Glad some of these boys are now being given a shot.

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2016

Anyone know of changes to the Australian and Barbarian teams? Word is Angus Blyth has an ankle injury and Nick Brown from Kings has been called up to Barbarians.

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

Josh Gunstone from Kings also needs to be added. With the Schools side dominated by Riverview and Newington boys it seems strange that Joeys and Kings have been the two dominant sides in this age group for the past three years.??

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2016

Unfortunately every report on this forum is written with some bias in the viewpoint. Usually a dad or mum trying to push their son. Hard to believe there could have been any bad players in a GPS side that beat a quality CAS side by such a margin

Haven’t seen the video but apparently Haskins did not play so how did you compare!!!. It is a good thing that the GPS teams are not selected by the Shore fathers who dominate this forum with agenda based comments.Last level playing field was 2014 NSW side where Brown got the points. He is the top...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2016

I don't think Rixon was ever in the NSW 16s??? Bailey Simmonson may have been named player of the tournament at 12 that year but I dont think he has had a 10 on his back in the rep scene

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2016

The dominant teams in the competition will undoubtedly dominate the selections. They are dominant for a reason and while there are always good players in unsuccessful teams it would be ridiculous to have a team that hasn't won a game with high representation in the top two GPS teams. From form...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2016

It appears that a parents push for position has already begun at King's, vailed in a team prediction, which is likely to destroy, once again, any semblance of team spirit and any chance that the school has of once again becoming a force in the GPS. It seems highly unusual that the current inside...
