My son plays at Uni and he is an apprentice and he is not the only one. Does that fit into your sad narrative?
I think you overstate the value of the scholarship by about 700% but don't let the facts get in the way.

McGregor definitely out, Strang would be favoured due to ability to cover 10 at a pinch. I rated him higher than Jooste last night as he runs forward not sideways.

How can you judge reserves when they play <20 mins? Strang, Swinton, Horton, 17 and 18 had limited game time and McGregor played for 30. I thought he made a difference but looked to be crocked going off to sheds. Agree Stewart would make a difference but he wasn't available.
