I was there. Was such a great game of rugby to watch. Stannies going in as obvious underdogs came out barking! Half time saw the match at 10-7 to Scots after a missed penalty kick from stannies. A try to Scots in the second half took the game to 15-7 where Stannies then missed another penalty...
I follow the ISA with great interest.
Watched the Knox (24) v stannies (13) game. Again unfortunate score not reflecting the game for the boys from bathurst with Knox scoring some lucky tries. I was impressed with the Knox backline looking very dangerous out wide with a menacing 13. Stannies...
Stannies vs Kinross is arguably the biggest rivalry in ISA and it shows on the paddock. Kinross always seem to peak against Stannies but the boys in blue and white should have an easy win this year. Can't make it to bathurst but I hope the game is played in good spirit.
SSC to win by 40+
There are also some very talented young individuals in the Stannies side. It's good to see a good amount of 16 year olds in a very strong 1st XV team. Bright days ahead for the boys from Bathurst.
