Now that finals have kicked off and we are all now sensibly playing at grounds that demand fences and tickets... any recommendations based on the quality of fences?
Ive been on a global fence tour this year so havent been able to keep up with the 2018 season. Are the boys from Lane Cove still...
Easily solved, get the plans drawn up now and propose to council. There is plenty of cash floating around the local council there at Rose Bay, plus im sure would further enhance the local area and improve property prices.
You cant just give up before you even start! Look at all the positive...
I like this talk and good to see there are some on here not only concerned about the future but actually planning for it.
I would take this 1 step further and look to merge all non fence teams with teams who have fences this way the team would have a mediocre training park and a glorious playing...
Good People of GAGR, in order to build rugby in Australia I propose all clubs (especially the 5 Dragons) contact their councils to get funds to help them build fences and hedges at their grounds so that the quality of Rugby increases for the 2018 season and beyond.
Its no coincidence that all...
Any good Fences this weekend?
Any new clubs coming through with Fence prowess?
Anyone know if, given their 2nd half form, Brothers have begun fence construction?
How many clubs with fences will be in finals this year?
I see from Lane Cove's results at home, the impact of the Fence & Hedge seems...
I agree! Here Here! This has been my point all along... Fences would surely be the start of a Subbies turn-around
why wont anyone listen to me, im lonely and just want to be loved.......
Is there photographic evidence of this "Fence" last time I was at St Ives home ground there was more of a chicken wire/chain link fence around the ground. Not an immaculate white picket fence, you need these types of fences if you want to climb divisions.
I have previously addressed the...
This is good to hear, the message is getting through to clubs that Fences win Matches. I wasnt aware of a Fence or Hedge at St Ives, but if this is club's mentality im sure come season 2018 you will see a brand new state of the art fence surrounding their ground. This coupled with their club...
My goodness, What a ground!
What a fence!
Surely nothing can top this?
Surely Tantallon Oval can not match this? With or without a Hedge!
Its not possible, the White Oval is the pinnacle of sporting grounds in Australia (if not the world) The Wallabies should be playing here!
Boys, Any good Fences around the grounds last weekend?
I was down at Ryde Oval for the Iggies v Barker match. I had never been there before personally (more of a north shore guy you know) however Its a fantastic ground! amazing facilities and a sensational Fence. Which most likely adds the the...
Thanks Year Of, true about the Pub!
Didnt realise it needed to be an active Rugby field... My bad.
I do agree with Skinny that Waverley have a great fence, but given the absolute fortune the council threw into that re-development I dont think its a fair inclusion as no mortal grass roots club...
Heard from a mate there was some good Fence action going on in these forums, and as a connoisseur of fences i thought id check it out!to kick things off here is a photo of one of my favourites.
