We'll see what happens next week.Allos coming home witg a wet sail. If brook do win then they obviously would have played better for the whole season with a scholarship and bursary free team. But don't count your chickens...
Yes another refs display that will keep the crowds awat from rugby. Pedantic and wrong. Penalising a scrum for collapsing as they had the other scrum back pedalling bemusing.
Great d from Wave s their line out terrible then kept giving the ball away with inane chip kicks. Not enough valuing of...
I agree regarding the back row, the No.8 is a stand out in defense and attack. Renton look so affine running player and goal kicker. His general playing kicking and passing is not as good. He would be a great fullback in a CAS team as his kick return attack is outstanding.
Particularly when Centenaries etc. don't influence enrollment policy. It is fair to say the competition is weaker this year, it will be a tough one in the rep fixtures.
It seems the Waves are missing a big centre that played last year in Year 10 Simondes or similar. I think the loss of their forwards coach and the lack of support for Cornish are key factors. That being said, the old Waves mind set of if not good enough , bash them, seems to be missing as well...
A rather stop start game with Cranbrook finishing way too strongly. Possibly the poorest Waves team for sme time, with the set pieces particularly weak. Many tight heads and soft defense, even after a spirited first Ten minutes. Makas outstanstanding as was Mahoney. Outside centre very strong in...
You have made an awful amount of assumptions here and we all know what they say about those tha assume. There needs to be accountability not excuses and pig headedness. Pedantic refereeing and subjective rules are why the code is struggling. How do you justify binning kids after 2 minute ?
A good performance by the Cranbrook team with very solid defense. The game was ruined as a spectacle by some ridiculously pedantic refereeing. This commenced within the first few minutes when the Cranbrook No. 7 was sinned binned for repeat infringements - quite unbelievable. This type of self...
Sounds like a very close encounter with the Alos team rising to the challenge at home. I undertand Waves have been hit hard by injuries with O'Donnell and Kava joining Ghan and the young 13 on the sidelines for this game.
Should be a good battle for the wooden spoon next week end against...
Yep, green far too physical, no.15 played with plenty of speed and the big winger too hard to stop. Trinity skipper and half was outstanding, the green did slacken off in the second half but Cranbrook having lost 5 players during the game could not get back into it.
Seconds a very easy win to...
Matt Williams is a good guys, but his track record, with very talented rosters is terrible. I think the Knox hierarchy have piad way too much for someone without a winning past. I guess he is lucky that he is valued in this way. Good coin for a 4th grade Wests player
There seem sto be far to much emphasis paid to this U16 process. Many of these players will not go on to play grade let alone represent. Small fish in a very big pond and distorted by political selections.
They should focus on playing good grade footy, getting experience and going from there...
Sorry Hound,
It is a bit like Jonestown, they will drink the Coolaid, if told to. The parent is mistaken. I have it on good authority that it was the other way around, Cranbrook sugesting 6 different dates after the Scots cancelled the game only a few weeks ago. My CAS spies tell me that...
I heard that Scots optimistically think they will have 3 of their team in the Aust Schoolboys side that week end. This would mean that they have nothing to gain and everything to lose. Tradition seems to be only skin deep there.
Seems to be indicative of their arrogance and belief in their own...
