    Reds v Force 7pm Sat 29th March, Rd 7

Sadly, if you go back and watch the original kick from Fines, it lands abount 2m OUTSIDE of the 22, but with all the chat and mini huddles, Horton gets told to stand on the 22m, but he then moves another metre INTO the 22. Right decisio, but I feel the ref and touchy should never have let it happen.

    Crusaders v Force Round 5

Yeah, I do agree with that point.

    Crusaders v Force Round 5

I think bitched it is a tad harsh, RA dictates that Wallabies cannot play 6 games in a row, if you play them against the Crusaders, then Cron wont be able to pick them for the Drua game at home the following week - a far bigger and more important game in the context of the Forces season. I think...

    Western Force 2025

Jeez, i was expecting this thread to be going off likea a frog ina sock after the EPIC result on the weekend!

Brumbies v Force Rd2 Saturday 22 February GIO Stadium, Canberra 7:35pm

I think its no coincidence that all of the stand out performers mentioned in this thread have flourished under Crons guidance. Tizzano and Williams have been exceptiopnal, Hamish was good at the Reds but stepped to another level at WF.

    Waratahs 2021

When can we put Penney out of his misery and get Cron back into the fold! When you have Hooper and Read arguing over where you will you will end up it’s a good start! https://www.rugby.com.au/news/2021/03/02/michael-hooper-kieran-reid-japan and SMH piece with Cron quotes looks like he is keen...

Yeah that was some mickey mouse cup, they are still registered for the league.

I believe CMC Markets have not renewed for the upcoming year. Was chat about it at the awards on Monday night.

    Waratahs 2020

Has Cron signed for Japan yet? Cause hearing the front runners being Campo (face plant) and Wisemantel telling us to get stuffed, makes me think, that the Tahs have made a big big mistake. I have always felt Cron was ready and I think even the naysayers would jump at the chance to have him now...

    Waratahs 2019

Would take odds on him applying for the HC job in 2021, I’ll offer you 100/1 he will do that, I think Japan and then NZ in a Super Rugby HC job.

    Waratahs 2019

Looks like it and very disappointed, delighted that he is getting the recognition and feel Hore has to take most or all of the blame for this. After reading his quotes on Thursday, I feel Cron had no choice. He needs to be shipped out ASAP.

    Waratahs 2019

You made some valid points, albeit ones I don't necessarily agree with, and then you said Whitakers CV is better, you cannot use his playing CV as a marker, its a totally different beast. He coached a D2 french team and they came 11th, his Rays team came 8th. Cron took on a basket case of a...

    Waratahs 2019

Congrats to the Waratahs for letting more talent leave our shores, clearly someone (and not some nobody, a RWC coach) sees his potential and willing to give him a go, he will do his time in Japan (be a success) and then be given gig in NZ rugby and we will lament the day we kept Gibson for those...

Miller out for 2-4 weeks with ankle injury, surely the pitch is to blame for this?

    Waratahs 2019

Daily Tele piece is behind a firewall but suggestions are he is being hit up but NZ and Japan as he is off contract after this year.

    Waratahs 2019

Correct, but he was outstanding with Norths, and turned the mentality of that side around in 2 years from bottom of the table to back to back finals with one win. and Tahs went from missing finals two years in a row, to making the semi finals - coincidence? I think we get bogged down by “well...

    Waratahs 2019

Interesting to see that the Tahs have not locked down Cron for Head Coach next year, "The Waratahs will be facing some list management challenges after this season, with head coach Daryl Gibson off contract, forwards coach Simon Cron also off contract and Phipps and Rona...

    All Blacks Northern Tour 2018

No I think they are talking about Donal Lenihan, but would depend on what feed you were watching. BEIN had Leneihan and Shane Horgan which is what I watched in Sydney.

    Waratahs 2019

So what does this mean for Cron, what is his title for next year, wasnt he forwards and D? I think they need to be careful not to alienate him and potentially lose him to another franchise, NZ or overseas. His involvement was the big difference last year and think we need him signed on long term...
