I am not saying he was the only one. But lets look at both defensive and offensive work before making any calls. Clearly there are few others who could be tried with Pocock at the backrow.
I was only making a point that those who did not want to work hard were already left behind by Brad at the beginning. Nothing else. You cant take away from him that he sticks to his principles and players. Most of them are his "projects" as he called them in one if his interview came from U20...
Hats off to QC (Quade Cooper) for his contribution to the Reds. Good luck for his future ventures. Mistakes have been made up the top but you can not expect different result if still doing the same thing. BT has my support.
Reds needs to move on and stop rely on "old stars" if they want to build the new team. I remind you that we had the best forward pack in 2017 comp (Smith, Tui and Higgers) but failed miserably. I expect major change on and off the field in 2018.
Let me make few comments here.
First. I am not "Mrs Korczyk" as you suggest. I guess its rather unkind to her to be implicated here.
I have been following this forum for many years but only recently I noticed that few of the commentators appear to target certain young players with little or...
Sorry mate but you are plain wrong. Watch the game again before making such sweeping remarks. I have noticed it is very easy to target any player on this forum. I think he did very well
Few comments after rather disappointing performance of Aus under 20 team during JRWC 2015.
We do not much the size and physicality of forward pack with 3 top teams (NZ,England and SA) and until this change we will never be competitive for top 3 finish. Easily said though these players do not...
The loss to SA was not a surprise (except the score) to those who watched both teams play. SA has an exceptional squad with many players of S15 standard and size. The game was an uneven contest as it would be between 1st grade and S15 teams. Tight 5 was mostly inexpierenced and you can not blame...
This is a recipe for a disaster in 2016! I agree that both youngsters (Sam and Lolo) were standouts in Premiers but by no means they are ready to take any leading role in 2016 Reds. Team needs S15 experienced players for this positions. Aside of that I do remember that Thomson has been regularly...
The problem is that he will get only 10 minutes on the field which is not enough to maintain a full match fitness. In my opinion he should have been released earlier.
Clearly you will need the big troopers in back row for SA. Hanigan with Tui as 4/5 and then combination of Korczyk, Gunn (Wilkin) and Lolo. I have not seen Lolo playing more than 15-20 minutes per game for some time. Not infrequently when he got tired he became a bit reckless with his shoulder...
There is no need for such mindless attack on the coaching and non-NSW players on this forum. I know some people are still upset that their sons were not selected but this by no means should sway the constructive discussion on this forum to such rants and baseless accusations. Grow up. Talk some...
Clearly with such performance we will have zero chance to advance from the group at JRWC in Italy. Praising anyone from the group (and especially forwards maybe with the exemption of young Tui) for allowing to be dominated for most of the day is an interesting concept which I personally do not...
