Round 9: Force vs Crusaders: HBF Park, Perth: Saturday 20th April

Head coaches are actively involved in building rosters, player management and retention etc. The fact that Razor was able to hold onto so many of those players for so long speaks well to the culture he helped create.

Round 9: Force vs Crusaders: HBF Park, Perth: Saturday 20th April

Aware, but Fergus Burke is off to Saracens at the end of the season also and still nursing that achilles as far as I'm aware. Not a great situation for Penny. I just thought NZ would have someone better than Hohepa bouncing around the system. Yes, Rivez Reihana was pretty average in those...

Round 9: Force vs Crusaders: HBF Park, Perth: Saturday 20th April

He's bent parallel to the field, hard to be much lower. Hard to comment on the wrap as they bounce off each other somewhat and we get the one angle for the replay. If there is something there you'd hope they'll review it post game. It's the issue I have with the laws with most players dipping...

Round 9: Force vs Crusaders: HBF Park, Perth: Saturday 20th April

Enjoyed that after watching the Brumbies get steamrolled. But I still can't wrap my head around how poor this Crusaders side is now. Poor maul defence, dropping balls all over the place, scrum penalties, poor line out. A lot of their senior players are really failing to stand up atm.

Round 9: Force vs Crusaders: HBF Park, Perth: Saturday 20th April

It looked like a rugby incident, he dips his head significantly at the last moment.

Round 9: Force vs Crusaders: HBF Park, Perth: Saturday 20th April

I'll ask it again. Seriously. I think I've loss count of how many he's failed to find the touchline or kicked out on the full.

Yes :) Carter has been good this game.

Round 9: Force vs Crusaders: HBF Park, Perth: Saturday 20th April

Good to see The Force claw 3 of those points back. If they loose because of those 5pts I'd be aggrieved.

That was a knock on. Clear seperation. What a shocker TMO.

Round 9: Force vs Crusaders: HBF Park, Perth: Saturday 20th April

Is Hohepa really the best fly-half option available to the Crusaders?

Round 9: Force vs Crusaders: HBF Park, Perth: Saturday 20th April

Agree. I know there has been some turnover and you can see players like Blackadder giving it a go, but it's like all their systems have gone out the door. They really need some leadership. Missing Scott Barrett big time atm.

Round 9: Force vs Crusaders: HBF Park, Perth: Saturday 20th April

That was a nice half from the Force. That last try was especially important as I expect a response from the Crusaders, but oh what a fall from grace they've had.

    Nice try for WF there.

Rd 9: Auckland Blues v ACT Brumbies, Sat, April 20 2024

Yes. No intent. Slipper was reasonably bent unlike Kirifi I thought so would have been harsh. Happy they didn't go red, the Brumbies didn't need that on top of that already horrible game.

... and getting worst. Slipper most likely looking at a Red there.

Rd 9: Auckland Blues v ACT Brumbies, Sat, April 20 2024

Yep. Painful to watch them blow that man up advantage. I get the no penalty try, but if it was honestly only 10 defending I suspect he would have gotten over. I'm liking the Brumbies being physical and making a dogs breakfast of the ruck, but they're just not making the most of when they do...

Was perfect for me the entire time too. You watching it directly off a smart tv by any chance?
